Haven’t seen anything that suggests Leicester want to or have to sell. And haven’t seen anything from us that we’re willing to put in a bid big enough to change their minds. Would like to be wrong as I think he’d go some way to taking us over the top, but don’t think this one is a goer.

Reading the Leicester forum they don’t seem to be fuming. Their view seems to be “we don’t need or want to sell him, therefore nothing less than an absurd will be accepted”. Are they wrong?

Yeah, good job I was very specifically talking about an assertion on how easy a transfer deal would be to make then, not whether it would be a good or desirable thing for it to happen or not.

Is this based on your first-hand experience of elite football transfer deals? Some of the ultra-confident assertions you get on here are mad Could just as easily and legitimately say: “neither of these deals are realistic. We can’t afford Werner’s wages or Leicester’s valuation of Madison”
