What's happening with the other coaches? Is he bringing his own guys in or sticking with Bruce's lot, I know Jones staying but not heard much about others.

It's unthinkable really a premiership side not to be at the least fit enough to run for 90 minutes, hopefully after a few weeks we start seeing the benefits of an actual training resigm. Just a pity we didn't have this pre season and ongoing.

I think the games up until January are just as important for staying up as to who we might sign in January, I'm sure if Eddie gets us playing better and pick up points then potential signings will see the project better. If we're too far away from pack not sure who will come.

Totally agree with this, even in a counter attacking team with more players actually getting forward to help I think he would do much better. Saint and Wilson also look pretty average last few games with so little service. I think the main problem with Miggy is he wants to be involved or please the fans so he runs back to help out defence and has too much to do. I think with better instructions he could be much better. Won't be there in a couple of years as not a great player but much better than he had been lately.

Does the money we can spend not go on previous 3 years and as Ashley spend basically nothing that's why we are able to use the quoted amount and then if we can try and get a more lucrative sponsorship deal and sell some we can then spend more. The players we buy will also decrease in value each year there contract goes down giving us more to spend. Maybe I'm wrong but that's what I got out of some of the information I've read.

That sounds hopeful but just wondering who is actually speaking to these agents or even deciding what players are worth the time spent finding out if they are willing to come. Surely anybody that did that in the Ashley era shouldn't be let anywhere near agents and the new owners won't have a clue what players are needed. Yes any top class players would be acceptable but that's not really the way to go. I think any linked players ATM is just click bait.

Don't understand how we can be in for anybody ATM, took us weeks just to get Eddie in and even that's not official. Surely we would need input from a DOF or a manager first. Hopefully everything settles down now until January and we appoint a decent DOF and give manager some time to figure who he can use and who is just a waste of a place.

Thought Wilson could have tried harder to stay on his feet, yes was a fowl but stumble and try to get a shot away. If 20 mins left then go down as red might help but not last 5

Didn't think was a pen, daft challenge but he could have stayed on his feet, if he'd gone down straight away then fair enough but we deserved to be a goal down, really can't see any manager turning this season around. Absolute dogshit team

We are by far the worst team in the Premier. Must be a joy to play against. Can't put more than 4 passes together and other team look dangerous every time we have the ball. Wilson and Saint must be sick af.

Get him, give him a chance

They should really keep him if we go down unless someone becomes available that they prefer long term at can rebuild the whole structure e.g Rafa, it's going to be a tall order to keep us up this season already with this team and the way we have been playing, that's one if the main reasons nobody else will come in. Let's give the guy a chance as this team need much longer to get rid of most of this squad.

I'm hoping he does well if he comes in, doesn't really matter who you get in and even big names bring no certainty it will work. I'll give him till after January and see how we are doing before making any judgement.

I'd go get Howe now, wasn't my first choice but we need someone in now and he might surprise us, not going to bring any big name players until the summer anyway. Got to be better than what we are doing now surely.

I hate to say it but we should just get someone in that can put out a half decent team with a balanced formation and Hooe we can scrape enough points this season to survive, its getting more blatant now that the new owners don't have an idea yet what to do and we aren't going to get any big name managers in until we are in a better position in the league and in the setup of the club. Just get someone in then concentrate on a decent DOF to sort all this shit out for next season.
