  1. Alright. My apologies for missing the sarcasm there Need to spend less time on Twitter I guess.
  2. It's called shemagh. You could've at least respectfully called it head scarf. I don't see people asking Sikhs to stop wearing turbans at the games.
  3. All the top European clubs who needed an all-around midfielder and had 40m for it are deep in the mud. What a talent.
  4. Every big European club missed out on him. This 40m pricetag looks more of a bargain after every performance. Only 24 years old. Brilliant.
  5. Overall, he played a bad game today. But that's the point, he produces something at his worst. I'm convinced he'll reach his peak when Newcastle sign a creative midfielder and a solid striker next season.
  6. Remove the average/terrible players around him and watch. Only Bruno G is at his level.
  7. Terrible player. And you cannot even praise his off the ball work. Just terrible positioning, touches, passing and finishing. 25m down the drain.
  8. 3 straight losses after the manager of the month award.
  9. Shit draw for Saudi. We are going to get thrashed again
  10. Newcastle 10th without VAR...
  11. Not really countering anything. UAE is a major player in the war in Yemen. UAE has had a huge crackdown on 100s of political activists in 2012 where they were jailed without a trial. By % of population and number of crimes, UAE executes prisoners in the same rate that Saudi Arabia does. In fact just 6 months ago, they executed 5 for the murder of 1 person. None of this is regularly mentioned in the press, and I have never seen Pep Guardiola questioned about it. But hey, Man City owner had tea with a dictator. Even Macron had tea with Putin. Big deal.
  12. The blame for the goal could be shared by multiple players. ASM is the least responsible IMO. Joelinton short pass was an invitation for an interception, ASM had to try and pass it back instead of trying to dribble. Then comes Dan Burn who easily let Iwobi get away and Schaer didn't track the run into the box. Dubravka had to do better saving that shot, it wasn't that difficult with better positioning.
  13. The way he decided to awkwardly head the rebound from Begovic save on Bruno was hilarious. He could've easily controlled it with his chest and slotted home for the 0-1.
  14. I assure you no one is "condemning" this: https://deathpenaltyinfo.org/executions/upcoming-executions
  15. Last time I checked nobody condemned the US and UK for executing serial killers and rapists.
  16. The victims are people Saudis know personally and have shared their stories over the past decade! Some of the crimes include bombing mosques, markets and were video taped and celebrated by these psychos!
  17. It's funny how these 81 "people" executed are viewed in the UK press vs. what they actually are viewed here. A bunch of ISIS and Houthis who killed AND tortured policemen, civilians and their families! Their victims who are in the 100s were never mentioned in the western media over the past deacde. It's even funnier to find out that the media, Human Rights Watch and Amnesty are joining forces with ISIS, AlQaeda, Houthis, Hezbollah and IRGC as the only parties publicly condemning the execution of a bunch of serial killers. If Saudi Arabia decided to execute 1 per day for the next 81 days, nobody in the world would have talked about it.
  18. Those under house arrest were royals who used their official status to steal from the government in many different ways. One popular way, was getting cheap government contracts for their own personal businesses, a few payed what they stole back and had the transfer ban lifted.
  19. What do you mean he has his family under house arrest? All +8000 of AlSaud family? Those under house arrest (not many) are corrupted royals who stole billions over the past 3 decades. It was a very, very popular move by MBS among all Saudis. Lobbyists in the US however, who saw their usual payments by those corrupted individuals cut, hated it.
  20. Of course it's quite conservative by western standards but if you go back pre-2017 you will be amazed how different Saudi Arabia was back then. Under MBS, Saudi started seeing things like this happening in Riyadh and Jeddah (just 80 km away from Mecca) on weekly basis...
  21. MBS is considered as an "anti-christ" by both radical Sunni and Shiite islamists around the world.
  22. Imagine thinking MBS is supporting radical versions of Islam... lol
  23. All I know is that the responsible individuals (with their real names and occupations fully revealed) have been convicted and are in jail right now. Khashoggi's real family has applauded the verdict, traveled to the US and back shortly after that. Why didn't they apply for US asylum? If I had to guess they would've been granted a permenant stay quicker than anyone else. BBC isn't Saudi, is it? here you go: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-45988533
