I honestly think with him and the option of burn (even more so if or when we get a CB, maybe one for next year) then we’re fine in CB for now personally.

That’sa very good point, for all we know Howe could be making them feel part of it more by using their strengths in other areas like lascelles leadership until he does go.

Also even though no one knows for sure - reports online state tindall is earning roughly £38,000 per week and Ritchie £44,000. Not exactly ground breaking savings.

As someone whose involved in a management team myself - be it in a completely different career obviously - I just think this is a very simplistic view. Get it working then look at how it can continuously improve, evolve and streamline.

Everyone who didn’t go around saying “we have more money - this ffp line is just ((insert blank))” knew this window was going to be tight. Expecting all of the above positions to be tackled in my opinion was always crazy for this window.

This is essentially an argument that has no facts as none of us are behind the scenes day to day the same as none of us know how much Man City or man united’s “cheerleaders” cost. Need to trust those who are living it.

And that’s fair - our leadership was a shambles and that’s been sorted enough to steer us to 12th and 4th. If the worst thing we have to complain about them is their cost then things are pretty good.
