Played a massive part last season and never gonna knock him for that but if the club wants to keep getting better then we need to ensure the squad needs to keep getting better and we seriously seriously need a goal scorer with woods availability but who can put the ball in the net.

That’s my issue with him - too many shocking misses, maybe I’m being too harsh but the one yesterday and the ones against Leeds don’t sit with me at the moment. Just wish some of our players had a little more in front of goal because we’re creating the chances just not putting them away.

You know what - I live in Leicester and a lot of people said to me “you Geordies will turn on Howe the first time he gets something wrong” and I laughed at them then I read some comments on here. Defeats happen in football, he had to rest some players - took a gamble and it didn’t work, learn from it, grow and move on but phrases like “piss take”, “embrarrasing” and others on here is pathetic in my opinion.

Spot on - for me it was a walk down memory lane to a time when we had dubs and lascelles in every week and we were always waiting for the two goals. i remember when we bought pope and a lot of people (myself included) saying it was an unnecessary purchase.

I’m just saying I don’t know everything so I’m not gonna start saying things like “that’s a black Mark against howe” after what he’s achieved for us. As frustrating as the Leeds game was - in one year or so he’s taken a team that was below Leeds to such a level that they were terrified to do anything else but sit back and leave with a point. I trust Howe and all of his decisions, warts and all.

Or his injury record is a concern for Howe? You can’t put a mark against Howe as you don’t know everything what’s going on.

Love Howe to bits and I’m the first to admit ASM infuriates me a lot of the time with his play and injury record but I feel as others have said in this thread that we need somebody on the left as miggy is getting doubled up on. i think Sheff We’d will do that today as well so let’s see if they do and how we get on against it.

I work in Leicester alongside several season ticket holders and that’s what they’re all saying. Their story is the when the father died in the helicopter crash - the other siblings have wanted their money back and now their getting serious about it.

Except Liverpool pay 2 - 3 times more than we do, we may need to look at our salaries going forward to hold on to them.
