This is a concern / thought of mine as well. Our left does need more attack in it for me.

I don’t - people know he’s a class act, wanted to go in the summer and is essentially counting the days now for a move. Still think this has arsenal in the summer written all over it.

I honestly don’t think Leicester will sell - they played hard ball with Maddison and tielemans last window and kept them. With this window being harder to replace them and Leicester somewhat struggling I think they’ll keep them and take the financial hit to ensure staying up and a higher league finish.

As they say money breeds money - not that I’d ever know.

And turning reserve etc into a larger revenue stream with larger loan fees. Chelsea make tons doing this I reckon.

Not according to several clubs this season, they’ve made more changes then they have over the last decade I believe. It was naturally changed straight after our take over so all eyes will be on us.

Kinda my thinking - for me go for a Bruno quality attacking RM and trippier quality LB, maybe upgrade wood so we have three great forwards as well.

Get you - it’s just weird for me at the moment because you thinks let’s keep improving and evolving but howes system of keeping the status quo works. Question is - if he had a much larger and higher quality squad, Would he still keep the status quo or change more?

Time will tell if you’re right and he does get locked but I don’t think Howe will personally.

What in asking is would we change the formation to allow one more in the midfield setting as though this current system is working so well? a serious question that’s all

Genuine question - given the way we set up and play these days and assuming Bruno is always one of the first names on the sheet . Where would a defensive midfielder for into our team?

You would start him against arsenal? We’re unbeaten in ages winning 8 on the bounce I think it is whilst beating teams like spurs away and Chelsea and you’d change the starting line up now?

You could argue unfortunately that in average this season that teams sitting back against us are the ones coming away with something - Palace in the league (although we were robbed) and took us to penalties in the cup doing it then Bournemouth again in the league and very nearly in the cup. I genuinely think these are the same type of games we sneak a 1 - 0 win with a Wilson goal when he’s playing.

Almiron loses his streak, Wilson injured and teams sitting back like Bournemouth and we could struggle to break them down and start dropping points. Of cost isak could come in, play like he did against Liverpool and prevent that.

If it was all howes decision and he chooses to keep him then I back that decision, same as if he decides to sell him.

Exactly this - I live in Leicester so not many Newcastle fans around here but whenever anyone says to me something like “champions league football this season?” (and it’s happening A LOT) I always say “we’re not even half way through the season yet, long way to go”
