Tino started all that melee.
Little Spanish twat tried to two foot him right at the final whistle so he went head to head with him and it all went off from there.
Anyway, great win that.
I think the fact Trafford obviously won't want another season with Burnley in the Premier League is a big factor in this saga. He won't want to tarnish the reputation he rebuilt last season by staying with them.
The problem will be that we aren't the only ones who will want to sign him, unlike last summer.
The gears are starting to turn now. The gears are fucking massive though so it's going to take a while for the wheels to get into motion. Then it's just a the small matter of getting those wheel moving through the tar pit we are stuck in and then up and out of the massive hole we fell into.
Easy stuff.
Really pleased if this goes through. £10M more than we could've paid last summer but he's arguably more proven and experienced, plus he's seemingly improved since then so I suppose it's fair enough.
Would be a great way to start off the summer signings. I'm happy to give a promoted club that money rather than any other Prem team.
Yeah let's just have a Super League World Cup. Same 32 teams every four years, no need for qualifying then. Fuck qualifying, as long as your country is one of those 32, who cares, right?
