Anyone call us being one point off Man City at Christmas? Perhaps not the way we'd most have liked but still good considering.

He said without any player trading we would be quiet. Dubs and Miggy heavily rumoured to be going so that gives me some hope we'll do something.

At least it wasn't Liverpool.

Spurs please. They are capable of being so horrific. I want them at home first actually, would usually prefer home leg second but in this instance I think we can do them by three goals in the first game and then keep it solid in the second at their place.

Absolute no brainier. Him and Dubarabka out the door in January bringing in £15M would be much needed. I reckon just those two out would be enough to get a RW in, just hope they do it ASAP in first week of January.

Bakayoko would class as such. By most rumours, he'd cost around £30M, maybe a little less.

In stark contrast, my Grandmother was a native German speaker and I can't think of anything more frightening than having her teach me a foreign language, I'd have been in tears after 5 minutes.

I feel like I find myself thinking this every 6 months when the transfer window comes around but I'm not sure it's actually true. 3 of the current back 5 tonight need replacing (Dubs/Burn/Schar). Pope also, so that's two keepers we need plus two CBs. The midfield 3 is a tough one, Bruno and Tonali are absolutely top 4/Champions League level. Joelinton is one of my favorite players and an excellent footballer in many ways, but I do think there's an improvement to be made there. Obviously of the front 3, Murphy has to be replaced, no more needs to be said on that. Thats a minimum of 5 first team quality players that have to come in before I think we are really capable of getting top 4. That's before even thinking of squad players who can cover multiple positions or a back up for Isak.

That's Schar missing the next game then?

I'd certainly take Mbuemo or Semenyo over Dibling right now no contest. Not saying I wouldn't like Dibling, but we really could do with a player who can perform and be trusted immediately. I would imagine if Dibling came in January we'd barely see him get a game until next season knowing how Howe likes to slowly introduce new young players.

I thought the same against West Ham as well. It's going to take more than a win against Leicester for me to fall back into the same trap again. I do think we'll win BUT this game isn't a forgone conclusion by any means.

It's unfortunate Brentford are doing so much better than last season, they've no excuse not to go for this competition. They will be putting out a full strength team and quite frankly, right now, they have as much chance as winning the whole thing as we do.

And Newcastle vs Blyth would most certainly be on TV but Harrogate are actually in the Football League and only 2 divisions apart from Leeds. I'm not saying you're wrong, just that I'm no way as certain about it as you are.
