If I had the choice of JSL for £50M or Wissa for £50M then I'd go for this guy. But more than that and it becomes a problem. If they aren't interested at £50M then another 10M won't make a difference.

And that unfortunately has ZERO relation to whether we actually sign anyone or not. I wish it did

I'm not sure what you mean exactly. He's 24. I don't think that's "getting on" is it? Lots of players only reach their full potential at 25/26.

Be that as it may. Villa currently have TWO strikers that he'd have to compete with, we have none. No doubt that would be an incentive for him to come here.

But who? There's not anyone left. They tried that with Sesko. Boniface is gone. Osimhen is gone. Samu is injured for who knows how long. We aren't going to bring anyone in from the Saudi league. Julian Alvarez is wildly out of our league and would cost a fortune. Martinez at Inter would cost a ridiculous amount (£85/90M for a 28yr old. Obviously goes without saying that Kane/Lewandoski are both out of our wage reach and age range. That leaves us with the kind of players we are going for now. The sooner we all come to realise that the less disappointed we'll be. As long as we don't sign NO ONE, I'll be happy.

He's second on my most wanted list now. JSL Jackson Wissa His attitude seems a little shit but that could well just be that Chelsea environment so I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt in that.
