    NUFC Transfer Rumours

If West Ham were doing better this season he's the exact kind of player they would sign. As it stands I think Forrest might go for him if they get into Europe.
  2. Chelsea at home and Arsenal away in the last 3 games of the season. He needs to be fit/stay fit before thinking about these things though.
  3. If Dubravka is leaving for the amount rumoured there's more than enough to cover Trafford surely. It's more whether Burnley would want him to go in the middle of the season.
  4. The performance from the new Spurs keeper last night is proof enough that Trafford is capable of coming in a replacing Dubs immediately. He can go, Trafford can come in. If Pope is fine he plays, if not Trafford plays.
  5. Back 4 picks itself really. As does the front 3. Only tricky thing is the midfield 3, does he go with Bruno or not? Impossible to say really, but personally I think he gets bench duty. Vlach Trips Schar Kelly Targett Longstaff Miley Willock Miggy Osula Barnes That's a very good team and that back 4 is incredibly experienced. I do worry about the midfield without any of Bruno, Tonali or Big Jo but they can't play every single game. That front 3 should have enough in Miggy and Barnes alone, I just hope Osula does well and scores atleast one.

    Joelinton

I bet there's a few in the Brazilian league though! Need to start scouting.
  7. I feel like we're all getting a little over the top about Dubs. It'll be sad to see him go but it's his time, if not for these last few games he'd have probably left this month anyway and no one would've cared much at all. Now obviously if he leaves we need another keeper in, so if we can't do that then he needs to stay but if a replacement is lined up then I'm all for it. He's a decent keeper but there's better out there. Just look at where Forrest are ffs, and they've got Sels in net, this run isn't all down to him. We made 4th with Pope for a whole season, we will be fine without him.
  8. Didn't realise Havertz is still injured for this. I don't particularly rate him but he's a real nuisance around the pitch. Plus the kid who came in for Saka is now injured as well so that a plus for us, he was doing pretty well for himself recently.
  9. Theoretically no but say you flip a coin once the chance of getting heads are 50/50, yet if you flip it 10 times the chances of getting heads every time are 1 in 1000. There's always some realm of luck or chance in football.
  10. Trent playing like he's already in Madrid.
  11. Most blatant handball since Suarez at the World Cup.
  12. They've also never been this bad. A draw would be a miracle.
  13. That's what I said, and TBF he didn't complete the game against Spurs
  14. I'll be very disappointed if it's less than 4-0.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

This is, in a nutshell why the January window is so hard to do any deals. Brentford and Bournemouth will be thinking about themselves right now, how they can improve their own squad to try and get into Europe. Brentford would be basically giving up on that dream if they sell Mbeumo now. Id absolutely taken Mbeumo but if we're being realistic he's not coming here in January. Dibling on the other hand is much more likely, especially he's he loaned back to Southampton. Howe wouldn't be starting him or even giving him any minutes here this season if he did sign this month anyway.
  16. So we think he starts again Arsenal? I'm assuming he does, but that's a quick turnaround and considering he came off with cramp it does cast some doubt. So I'd not be surprised to see Kelly instead.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

I'm sure you've seen it mentioned before but the fact he's bald, people believe has a huge impact on how fans/media view him. Thinking he's 28/29 for one thing changed how you saw him as a potential transfer and I think alot of fans would think the same.
  18. Trafford has a very "first season at Man Utd De Gea" vibe about him. 22 is very young for a keeper though and he's got time to bulk up a bit of that's what he needs.
  19. £2M per clean sheet. Bargain.
  20. IF he's going for £8M as some unbelievable sources have said then it's a no brainer. He's not worth even half that and that over double what we paid for him. Turning that down for a 36yr old back up keeper would be ridiculous and things like that need to stop if we are to move forward in the next couple of windows.
  21. Woah. This should be in the official James Trafford thread.
  22. Always nice to see Arteta not get what he wants.
  23. I agree he's not a Keane/Cattermole kind of player but he is very reckless in alot of his challenges and he does tread a fine line most games.
  24. Brighton really are experts at signing players for their profile and potential rather than their "name". They must be the team I know least about most of their players. Other than some newly promoted clubs.
  25. I'm looking it as well. Longingly, and from a distance.
