I agree with you on this. The loss to Liverpool (even though we had ten men) irks me far more than those three draws you mentioned. Come the end of the season, those three points away at Villa, Leeds and Bournemouth will turn out to be far more than a lot of teams will get in the same fixtures.

You can do everything right (improve the academy, improve the training ground, keep your best players, sign two XIs worth of top talent) and still fail to break into the top 4 or challenge for the title. What you actually need is ALL of those things plus a huge amount of luck on the top. Because the odds are stacked so incredibly high against anyone trying to do what we are doing it's almost impossible to achieve without everything going your way.

The clip of his "tackle" on Kudus is going round Twitter a fair bit. People seem to think it's dangerous/reckless/etc. I don't think it's that bad. He's ends up wrapping his legs round his waist is all, I get why Kudus is angry because Joelinton stops him getting up off the floor but the challenge was not dangerous IMO.
