Yes in this case we probably do. That's not always the case though. Sometimes a club can have by far the highest bid yet the player will turn them down in favour of another club. I know you were trying to be funny but it didn't really work
-
You'd think if we were interested in him we'd have got him by now. However, we wanted Botman since January and only just got him so there could be many many reasons. You'd like to think we would be his first choice if a bid came in, just have to hope our bid is one Lyon would accept over anyone else's.

The fuck is up with his hair let alone the dress sense.
-
Maybe, maybe not. Definitely the right quality/level of player that we need to be linked with. Perhaps he is 2nd choice after Diaby and Harrison 3rd choice. Would make sense, we can't get our 1st choice every time, just isn't possible right now.

Got one of those Castore Newcastle Scuba Hoodies 6 months or so ago and it's top notch tbh! No complaints from me.
-
Would be horrible to see him playing at another Premier League club. Hope it doesn't happen. Its here or nowhere Paqueta!
-
Funny they've got Ronaldo in there promo stuff and he doesn't want to be there. No shame .
-
Hudson-Odoi would be a no from me. Only got into that Chelsea team because Lampard couldn't buy anyone else and once they could he barely played. He's not a top half Premier League level player.
-
The prices are crazy admittedly. But if you want to get a training top, perhaps look at last year's ones now. There will be plenty for sale still at hugely reduced prices.

Fuck off with loan deals. Unless they are paying his full wages they can get lost.
-
More versatile than those 3 though and I would argue is a big voice in the dressing room. Wears his heart on his sleeve at times, may need someone like him around this year.
-
Everton won't let Gordon go, he needs to stay for a season or two more and keep progressing then they will get the really big bucks for him if he turns out the way they expect. The more I watch of Diaby the more I'd like him here.

Open now! Mine team is done......for now

I think throwing everything at Diaby/Leverkusen to get him in isn't an entirely stupid idea if it works but it also undoubtedly undoes the work we have put in so far in convincing the footballing world we aren't going to overpay or be forced into massive deals just because of who our owners are. We may well get Diaby using the kitchen sink tactic but we could well blow our reputation for being hard ballers before it's even cemented. Alot of clubs/players will look at the Ekitike deal (which seemed hours away from being signed and sealed) and think differently about us than they perhaps did in January or May.
-
He's the one I thought would've been snapped up by now. His lengthy contract here may be the issue, depends how motivated he is to leave. Says alot about Hayden that he clearly wanted to leave for first team football and did so fairly sharpish.
-
It would be a strange turn of events if Broja went to Everton and then we signed DCL. Everton may be desperate to get some money in while they can. No doubt the FFP guys are breathing down their necks.

Is the training gear available for sale yet? Had a look on the store but couldn't see it, unless I'm looking in the wrong place.

In his 6 seasons at Bournemouth he played over 25 times in 4 of them and 30 or more in 3 of those 4. 26 is the most appearances he's had in a season with us. So perhaps Howe will have a plan in place for him, to keep him fit for longer and injury free as much as possible. Not having to rely on him to play 90minutes whenever he is avaible because we actually have another capable ST or 2 will also play a big part.
-
A loan would be absolutely fine, however I would like the final fee (option to buy) to be agreed beforehand. Dont want another Willock scenario whereby he came to us worth fairly little and then because of what he did his value rocketed up.
-
Would be a shame to see that but can understand they are going to need another ST just as much as we are now. Depends how much we want him.
-
I think when you have 3 players in midfield, it's not necessarily an issue if you don't have a specific defensive midfielder. Especially if you have 3 players in there who are multi skilled; Tielmans/Bruno/Joelinton for example wouldn't be in any way a defensively inept midfield 3 even though you wouldn't describe any of them as a DM.
-
I'd agree with you in relation to Almiron as he's had a fair crack of the whip while here, he's played alot of games but doesn't seem to have improved his numbers. Fraser on the other hand is not in the same boat. He's had injuries that have kept him out the team for long periods and whilst that isn't something you want I think he's proven he can do it in the Premier Leage over the course of a full season (Bournemouth 18/19) 7goals and 14 assists. Almiron has never had even close to those kind of figures in 3 and half seasons. I wouldn't be happy with either starting as RW but I would accept it if other positions (ST,CM possibly) were filled with appropriate quality of players.
-
Tielmans would be a big statement. We don't NEED him, not in the same way we NEEDED a CB or NEED a RW and ST. However it would be an indulgence that perhaps would be too good to turn down.

Might be alone on this but I actually prefer kits with sponsors on. Now obviously some of the sponsors are garish and jar horribly with some kits/colours however the majority don't. To me, football kits look very strange on the eye without a sponsor. Even if it's just a charity or something like " Visit Country X " I'd much rather have it there than not.
