He's only 22, basically now had two full seasons since his big injury so clearly back up to speed. I'd not even entertain an offer less than £75M. That's pretty much double what we paid for him and I don't think anyone would argue he's not twice the player he was then. But realistically if we NEEDED big money this summer and Liverpool/Man City would pay that then I'd certainly give it some good thought. That's crazy money for a full back and there's no shortage of quality in the market for us to replace him.

This surgery (if true) will only force the point further that we need another ST to fill his boots/take the load off him. That's obviously not Wilson and it's unlikely to be Osula next season.

Not saying I would. He's been linked away to Villa just like Willock has to Palace. I'm just saying there's a lot of players potentially heading out the door, they will need replacing.

Other than the fact there's a few players leaving this summer, I'm not sure 3/4 additions would cut it. That would just replace what we lose. I could easily see 7/8 players coming in this summer. Not all first team starters obviously. But all players who will be in the matchday squad. Willock, Longstaff, Wilson, Trippier, Barnes, Dubravka, Vlach, Targett, Pope (if we bring in a #1) All players linked away or out of contract. That's NINE players that need replacing potentially.

Rice being out would be excellent. I guess Merino would've replaced him again but he's out as well so hopefully they've got Zinchenko or some youth player in there instead. Would make up for us missing Big Joe.

Ideally he'll be okay for Arsenal. I'd be happy with a back 5 of Tino, Burn, Botman, Schar and Krafth. Give Barnes a rest for this and get Murphy back at RW, Keep Gordon LW.

Agree with what's been said. Very good when he came on. Happy to see him at RB in the next two games if that's what is needed.

May well be a perfect storm of a situation that gets Murphy into the England squad. This is his best ever season statistically, he's been fit/available for the whole season and Tuchel is here to win the next tournament and that's all, he won't be worrying about blooding 18/19 yr olds in the squads so much. The only thing that is going to work against Murphy is another RW coming in summer and taking his spot. If he's not on the pitch for us he's not going to get in the England squad. He's not Foden.

He wasn't involved much in the 10 or so minutes after coming on but then he started to get into the game a bit more and did so well in the end. We barely had the ball in that second half so it's hard to judge him on today really.

The two teams they play genuinely couldn't be a worse pair. I'd much prefer them be playing two of the relegated teams. It's worked out perfectly for Villa but shit for everyone around Villa.

Forest are obviously going to beat Leicester so we can now just hope Arsenal lose today and we go into next weekend with a chance to overtake them and basically seal Top 5.

One of the problems we've had all game is the ref has let every Chelsea defender and midfielder get away with persistent fouls and so they've been able to make tackles and stop attacks with fouls without any risk to themselves.
