This is pretty much how I'm expecting the England game to go later on. Alot of similarities between this Dutch team and the England team, huge quality in most areas but lacking in vital ones. The big difference is we have the finisher/match winner in Kane needed to win these kind of game, whereas Netherlands do not.

Played 45 games for QPR last season. Obviously still more than capable. Considering he will probably play ZERO games next year and won't be much of a wage it seems sensible. It does seem odd that Gillespie has been kept on though, seeing as we don't need him for the European squad.

I could definitely see us signing one of them, MGW coming in would obviously be preferable but as long as other positions are filled well then DCL would be a decent one (for the right price).

A transfer window consisting of Kelly, Trafford, MGW and DCL would be really quite solid if maybe not as exciting as people would hope. Even with all those we'd still need another CB and a RW. It's going to be a big job getting everything we need this summer. Alot of people are going to be disappointed about who we can realistically bring in.

There really is some woeful takes and absurd arguements (online in general) going on around this England squad. Don't remember it being this bad at the Qatar WC. So many discussions around players who will never even play more than 10 minutes in this entire tournament. I really cannot wait for the 14th so we can finally have something else to occupy everyone's minds and then England can prove us all right or wrong, depending on what you think of their chances.

So we need to get some money in but we don't ideally want to lose Minteh to anyone let alone a PL club. If Liverpool are willing to pay £40M or so then surely there's a club in Europe out there willing to pay a loan fee of let's say £4M, assuming ofcourse Howe doesn't think he's ready for the first team. Add that to whatever we get for Dubravka, Miggy and Wilson and that's our summer sorted. If only it were that easy.
