Starting up again, we need a goal ASAP. The longer it goes on the harder it'll be to get infront and stay infront with no real help coming from the bench.

Wilson was fairly anonymous last week and we still won. Play Gordon is as good a 3rd choice striker as youll get outside the top 3 teams. Bournemouth are just doing everything to stop us and the ref is allowing it.

Bringing Murphy on would get rid of Miggys right foot but means that Barnes would probably have to play a full 90, which I don't think Howe will want just yet.

I do agree with you but it's incredibly frustrating when the ref is essentially ruining the game all by himself by allowing the opposition to basically cheat. Hard to stay emotionless in these situations.

Unfortunately you're right, same thing happens in Sunday League. The more you're on the refs back the more likely he is to favour the opposition.

Proof that it's not just this season though, the games last year against Bournemouth were just the same. Really scrappy and no rhythm to our game. Its the way these teams come and play away from home, its up to us to beat them, they just do whatever they can to fuck us up.

Same as Yates last week. One challenge that could've arguably been a RED and 2 others that were both yellows without a doubt and its not even HT yet. These kind of refs cause so much frustration.

What is the issue with inconsistenty amongst officials this season. It was a yellow card for anything and everything in the first 2 months of the season, now seemingly you've got to commit GBH to get a yellow now.

Basketball game again, just like the last two games. We really need to focus on bringing players in during the summer who are competent technically and able to keep the ball for longer than 2 passes. Edit: Yes I know Tonali is one of those players but Burn, Miggy and Longstaff aren't, they need replacing ASAP.

Tbh I'm quite pleased in some ways. We've seen players come back too quick too often this season. All that will happen if they were on the bench is Murphy/Gordon would get injured in the first 10 minutes and they'd have to come on and play basically a full 90. So I'd rather they weren't there until they are really really ready to be playing.
