Im not denying that Wilson was excellent last season and for us in seasons gone by but now I think the injuries are becoming far more common and he takes so much longer to get back to sharpness after them. I'll put it this way, I'd be far more pleased seeing Solanke go to the Euros as back up with England in the summer than I would Wilson. Not only because he can stay for but because I think he has moved onto another stage in his career this season and offers more all around than Wilson does. The price tag for him is another discussion, because he's certainly not worth the £60M touted about in some places.

Wouldn't really be a back up considering how often Isak is injured. Plus you could have then both playing at the same time anyway if needed. Solanke and Isak doing what Wilson and Isak did last year would be a step up IMO.

Caicedo really is the shittest player ever to cost over £100M isn't he. Unbelievable really, the fact someone even thought it was good idea to pay that is shocking.

Yes ONLY the 4 players needed, not like that's nearly half the outfield team or anything. Plus we'll be losing players who will also need to be replaced so it becomes something of an impossible task to actually improve the starting XI and also the squad at the same time. This summer is going to have to be something else entirely if we really want to compete again next season.

The only boring thing about us is seeing us concede the same damn identical goal twice a game every week for the last 6 weeks. That's what is fucking boring, the rest of it is pretty fun.

If that's anything like what it looks like then it's no less than 6 weeks out. If that is the case then we may as well end the season here. Play the FA Cup games just to see what happens but just come to some sort of arrangement with the league and agree to finish 8th. We're toast.

Ofcourse that is absolutely true and they don't provide enough between the three of them defensively BUT there's fuck all that can be done about that because we have no other midfielders. We do however have a player who can replace Burn and remove that need for our LB to have to constantly be protected and helped when faced with an attacking player.

It's absolutely not on Dubravka but he made the mistake for the first goal, not that it was intentional or clumsy, just shit luck really. However he is part of that defence that is conceding goals like a bottom 6 team would. The sooner Pope is back the better unfortunately for him.

All depends on results, so there's no time frame that you can give on that. Losing games (or drawing games against Luton, Bournemouth etc) is always going to put pressure on him but realistically unless it truly goes tits up and we lose/draw 75% of our remaining games he'll rightfully still be in the job at the start if next season.

If we could fucking defend then we'd be comfortably 4th now and that's incredibly painful to realise. Something has to change and unfortunately for Burn, he's the one that has to make way. If we're going to leave ourselves so open then we need Tino to be in the back four to provide some recovery pace. If the tactics have to change to make that happen, then so be it.

We absolutely don't deserve to be winning this but we've still got time to do it. Unfortunately so do Bournemouth.

Tell you what, I could just delete it but I'm going to post what I was about to say before that goal was scored because I deserve to be laughed at for it in hindsight. Those changes are incredibly unhelpful and almost pointless at this point, does Ritchie even know where his feet are anymore.

Just like 70% of teams have this season unfortunately. We've been so far from what we were last year, easy to score against, easy to push about and no game management.

Getting to the point now where the best we can hope for is a point and a very disappointing draw.

Let's be real, if we lose twice to Bournemouth, twice to Luton and then also lose to Everton once (so far), Forrest and who knows who else this season then we perhaps don't deserve any sort of European football really.
