I'd really disagree that the handball rule is clear. The consistency in which the handball law is applied isn't particularly great. Specifically when it comes to awarding penalties for handball. I didn't agree with him the other day (I'm biased of course) but as I said, it's a game of opinions. To be fair, if the roles were reversed and Madison handled the ball accidentally and Son scored as a result, I think many here would have been annoyed.

Plenty of managers I dislike, but Ange is certainly not one of them. You'll never agree with everything a manager says, not even your own. After all, it's a game of opinions. But in a world full of boring, monotone managers, he's charismatic, direct, forthright and stands by his players. What I like most is that he calls out interviewers and pushes back against their shit, snide questions. He won't have it, and I'm all for it.

This part of the Offside Law (Law 11) has really always been the same. It's not changed. Effectively, if the attacker is an offside position, and the defender: + Passes the ball to a team-mate; + Gains possession of the ball; or + Clears the ball (e.g. by kicking or heading it) Then the attacker is not offside. The defender in this specific situation did not go to clear the ball, pass the ball (and misjudge it or slice it etc), or gain possession. He blocked the ball. That's viewed in the same way as a goalkeeper save (you'd be offside as an attacker).

We're playing with high intensity again and creating tons of chances. We're about to hit some team for 6. To anyone saying he doesn't learn, improve etc. Last year, we lost 6 in 7 PL games between 7 Dec to 14th Jan. Corrected this year.

Happy to watch a closed shop, NFL, NHL style system, with all the benefits Pata mentioned, when watching those sports. Happy to watch leagues based on promotion and relegation, when watching football in the UK. Wouldn't want British owners buying US teams then suggesting/demanding they change their league and how they do things. Don't want Americans doing the same to our game, which has a 150+ year history. They can be good, bad, or shit owners - that's on them, but don't be suggesting no super league, all star game or shit in the first 12 months of your ownership.... Maybe bring an idea to the table when you've been part of the set up for a while.
