Well 3/4 of them are injured now, so a bit of luck i would say. -

Pure luck that we didnt get injuries until now, need to strenghten central midfield big time this summer. -
Said his ankle was fine in his last interview.

Man Utd probably dont care so much about 3rd, so would think they will rest some players before the FA cup final. -

Any reasonable player with a semblence of ambition would try to get away from Mike Ashleys team that was managed by Steve Bruce. -
If you ignore the sentimental part, selling Bruno for 100m+ would give us alot of room to work with in terms of FFP for the next couple of years. Not that i want to sell him.

Bruno keeps saying in his last interview that he needs some rest. Think he will get just that. -
If think the same can be said for most of our midfield.
-
He wasnt just good though, he got premier league player of the month. Unreliable, but has shown hes got it in him. So rather not spend a massive part of the budget on a pure RW who will be benched when Almiron is on top of his game. Much rather get someone like Szoboszlai and Maddison who can fill in that role when needed, and who can also compete with Longstaffs position.
-
Almiron has been top quality this year imo. 2nd most goal contributions in our team while working his ass off every game. Has anyone seen any stats on how much our players have ran this season btw?
-
I would think a lot more teams will park the bus against next year like Leicester did. So my number one priority would be to bring in an attacking midfielder or two who can open up the defense with a pass or take a shot from distance. If we are "forced" to play higher up on the field next year we are also in desperate need of a pacey defender. Dont want to critisize our defense, but we cant deny that they are slow as fuck. Leaves us very vulnerable to counter attacks. Wish list: 1-2 AM(R/C), purple 1 LB, purple 1 DM, squad player 1 Striker, squad player 1 CB, talent

Best defense in the league again.

I think leaving Pope out is a sign that he may rest others aswell. Atleast if they have been playing with minor injuries. -

Injuries can happen fast when the body is tired. No need to risk it with the players who seem to already struggle with niggles imo. With Eddie Howe here I think its going to be big having everybody fit and ready for the pre season, which isnt that far away. -
A friend of mine who is a Juve fan was sure we are going sign a player of theirs that runs out of contract this summer. Adrien Rabiot, central midfielder.

Ill take Feyenoord, Porto and the Serbian team. Can wait with the big name until we get further into the competition. Would rather not want the extra games from dropping down into Europe League. Going for the Premier League title next year with City hopefully deducted some points -

Still want to go for 3rd. But Tripper, Joelinton and Bruno can get a well deserved and needed rest. Pope Manq Schär Botman Burn Almiron Longstaff Anderson ASM Isak Wilson -
Why he would lie about us only going after a small group of players? Couldn't it be to put pressure on the clubs with targets that we are after? Something like "sell to us before we get our other target and are done with the transfer window".

6 goals+assist isnt that bad in a little over a 1000 minutes played. -

Genuinely thought it was possible since before the season started. Thought we would actually make it after we beat Man Utd. -
Please let us be done with being a scrapyard for Man Utd.
-
He said both things yeah. Not going to trust anything he says regarding to the transfer window though. All smoke and mirrors.
-
Definitely need a backup for DM aswell.
-
Is it overkill to get both Maddison and Szoboszlai? Cant decide which one of them i want the most. Think Szoboszlai can play on the wing aswell.
