  1. Brilliant. Happy for the lad.
  2. Murphy doesn’t even have to pull a face and he still cracks me up.
  3. Eddie heee, Eddie whooo, eddie eeee, eddie Ha’owe! that’s all I’ll say on the matter.
  4. It’s trying to include a midfielder with strength and pace who can link-up in attack in Anderson, but also trying not to sacrifice Isak who can play there, obviously different to how Barnes or Gordon would do. Otherwise it’s dropping Isak and playing Barnes there. The right for me is either starting Murphy or playing someone else there. Murphy arguably should be given a start there. In which that would be Gordon back on the left. Wilson Gordon Anderson Murphy Tonali Bruno Hall Botman Schar Tripps Pope
  5. It was nice seeing movements of Bruno involved in our attack playing higher up the pitch. We brought Tonali in and he can play anywhere across that midfield to be honest. It does look strange that we don’t really have a number 6 in there. Wilson Isak Anderson Gordon Tonali Bruno Hall Botman Schar Tripps Pope Centre forward leading at the top with support in attack from Isak, Anderson and Gordon, who has played in that position before . Tonali and Bruno playing across the midfield and all those in attack are able to muck in if needed, particularly Anderson and Gordon. Desperate to see Hall start as I do think he’ll offer just about every attribute needed in that role and more. That’s 4 changes, but positive ones. Will that happen. No, but it’s shows what we do have and I would really like to see Anderson be given a shot along with a natural sticker in the game too.
  6. All I can say is that I hope Hall gets his name on the team sheet for our next game. Nunez, from more less the same position, slotted it passed Pope with ease. Marking was terrible. Not us. Gordon was by far our best player in attack, but otherwise definitely wasn’t working for us elsewhere. I think miggy might be out of luck with Murphy playing, but it certainly does seem we do need to strengthen in that area. midfield is still a bit all over the place too. I do really feel bad for Anderson who has obviously performed well in pre-season. We don’t have a player like him centrally in midfield. I do trust we’ll figure it out. We’ve had some tough games to start with. Obviously were tremendous against Villa. We’re always gonna struggle against City away, but in this game obviously they need to figure it out with more difficult challenges ahead in the season, what we need to change.
  7. Well, as long as it keeps it down a bit. Not so hard. Tinkle off every now and then it’ll be alright. Maybe a quick dose of lighting on Klopps nashers
  8. I’m hoping Longstaff doesn’t start to be honest. I just feel past the whole hope he plays and plays well today because bottom line is his form is unpredictable. I just feel there’s better players that can start and offer more. whatever happens I will obviously always be behind the team, but I’d prefer to see players with better quality and consistency than him.
  9. Inflated ego. Screams of narcissism that he sees no wrong and actually twists it around to put the blame on her. As you might know a lot of people like him are in high positions with responsibility/decision making as they have zero empathy and in turn are ruthless, cold and obviously angry when called into question. He needs to be removed, but honestly nothing surprises me. The pendulum stays fixed when it comes to these fuckers in power.
  10. Haydon’s been a great servant for us. Definitely played his role and really deserves to be playing 1st team football either a championship or premiership side. Lascelles, I feel, has stepped his game up a bit, but it’s clear we still want a new improved RCB, so I think this would be a good opportunity for him to start games elsewhere. Fraser on the other hand seems to be unpopular everywhere he leaves. He can fuck off, little midget
  11. Ah right. Sounds like an immediate banning from all communication to me
  12. I agree with all above and this is actually quite a smart jersey. Would definitely be nice with our crest on. The point on the patches covering the shoulders or down the sides has always irritated me (which doesn’t take much). Just looks better watching the game when you see the stripes going over like that.
  13. I think they look like pyjamas when the stripes are thin or a prisoner of war uniform. The 3 striped shirt sounds like the one we wore when Ba and Cisse played for us. Yep, there’s no doubt about it and no different opinion allowed I’’m afraid. This is clearly by a mile the best home shirt. Case closed. Shutdown the forum.
  14. Eddie saying in his press conference Lewis can play as a number 6, 8, left wing, left wing-back and centre-half. the number 6 role may prove to be useful, particularly is we’re playing 3 at the back, but otherwise that left-back slot remains the biggest priority to fill.
  15. I had that one with Asprilla on the back and as mentioned above there I experienced the same. Horrible and itchy to wear. Was never a fan of the massive v-neck either, but otherwise it was a nice top. Bit of a shine on it. I always liked the royal blue 93/95 away shirt as like the 95/97 home shirt, it came with good memories. The 98/99 was a similar colour from the ‘sexy football’ era.
  16. An up to date version of these 3 is all we need for 3 to 4 seasons without any change. Thank you. Good night. Thread locked. The end.
  17. I know schar’s played there before, but I reckon Botman would be sold there - obviously wouldn’t really go for it all personally, but just for arguments sake in utilising what we have as have done have a DM and I can’t really see who we’d sacrifice long-term if we did get one. Just gotta keep faith in Eddie and see what he does in the in and coming games .
