It’s one of those where you’ve got players who have over-achieved and yes, there needs to be improvement in certain positions along with more strength in depth without changing too much. I feel we’ve just about done that. What’s more encouraging is seeing players we wouldn’t have thought of being playing part in that all, Anderson and even young Miley.

Definitely. It’s the only way to be going into the season with the business we’ve done and what’s previously been achieved….I could go on…but I won’t. I’d like to think everyone will be match sharp if not by the weekend then definitely next, then it’s …..let’s fucking give it to em’!

Aye, I think we need to remind ourselves where we finished last season with the team we had. All though other teams, on paper, look to have improved, but we have too and I wouldn’t at all put anyone down who was involved last season that helped us get there. there’s still time to go for potentially another, maybe two at a push, to sign, but I’m definitely happy that there’ll no doubt be a lot more assists and goals this season. Had a lot of draws last season and I feel we’ll do better this time around.

Everyone of those players at the back has made mistakes. Target has been away for a while, but in that last game there showed glimpses of what he was like when we brought him here. Like the rest of the squad, he’ll be that bit more sharper there now going into the two games over the weekend. Whether he starts games or is back-up to potentially a new left-back he’s certainly someone I wouldn’t target…..get it? Target!

I prefer getting games like that out the way and going by our defence last season it’s difficult to just judge them on the first few pre-season friendlies. There’s no doubt we need more strength at left/right-back and possibly centrally, but I’m more pleased that we have better attacking options this time around.

Definitely comes across a bit of a knob, but it’s nonsense all the same. I just don’t see anything like this being worth getting annoyed with. When I read a deal has been agreed on sky then that’s when I let the excitement creep in.

Pointless having smug conversations about it because he won’t be going….! Maybe next season or so given his age, but he’s definitely got goals in him and along with that we have Isak along with potentially Gordon, Anderson and Willock as back.up. So, not happening. If you’re board, go out for a walk or play on your PS3 or something because Wilson being sold, it just isn’t happening.
