Was about to post something similar. His hoys are mint, some tackles won here and there, but most other attributes seem pish. Still, impressive stuff from Tamworth so far. Spurs look soulless.

Just browsed through some posts in the other place... comments such as 'The Mags are shitting it' and 'There'll be a run on bog roll in Newcastle soon'... Erm... anyone confirm this? As I only see us being the current form team in the PL and (checks cupboard) I don't appear to need any more bog roll. I recall similar levels of excitement when they landed Terry Butcher.

Think it's just a case of realising that the squad at this time is pretty much mid-table quality. Pretty potent attack, defence is a shadow of its former self. Therefore we'll drop a lot of points. We've won just about as many games as we've lost this season. Last season, we lost only 5. We may yet make some kind of European competition, but as others have pointed out, this summer must be used wisely. Can't repeat all this next season, especially the injuries.

Really ought to have won this, but a combination of not taking chances and some bang average players left in our team scuppered it. Kind of nullifies our win at the weekend, sadly. Hopefully other teams will help finallly push this unflushable scouse turd round the Premier League U-bend.
