Which managers weren't given enough time?

We have had 12 managers because we normally appoint absolute dross and we faced back to back relegations then languished in League One for four seasons. Who was heralded as the new messiah and King? It certainly wasn't Grayson, nor was it Parkinson, Johnson or Beale. You very rarely get sacked if you are doing a good job, Infact Mowbray is the only one we let go who was doing fairly decent. It isn't the fans fault that managers have failed.

Football fans in being fickle shocker. He should never have been given the job, Awful appointment.

His point stands? He said fans were fawning after him after he won three games on the spin, He didn't even manage to win back to back games man never mind three, He was absolutely garbage.

I mean, apart from the fact he never won three on the trot, ever.

Maybe so, Always associated it more with Sunderland than South Tyneside to be honest but could be wrong. Either way, plenty nice spots in Sunderland, and plenty shite.

The City centre is shite (albeit its improving), but there's some lovely areas of Sunderland. Whitburn, Cleadon, Roker are all lovely parts of it, like anywhere you have absolute shite and some decent spots.

Hope it ends as a series from here rather than just trying to chase another dramatic finish, Ending encapsulated everything perfectly.

Tom Watson looks absolutely identical to Clarke, Play exactly the same aswell.

Not exactly a fair metric if your giving kids one window to make a move to the PL is it? FWIW - Clarke is being heavily linked to West Ham, a team currently 6th.

I said from the start he's not worth 30M, I think he's worth about 15-20M. I used the likes of Tonali / Gordon / Botman fees as an example because they went for double if not more than what he's worth, evidencing the fact they are better players than him at a similar age.

Yes, Hence why they are playing for a team in the CL. Jack Clarke isn't that level, but I think he will be fine for a lower end PL side.

Well if you have seen him a few times you should know that he's a very good player for his age, homegrown and will be better with better players around him. 97 appearances with 44 goals / assists is a brilliant return. Alex Scott went for 25M, granted he's two years younger but has 88 appearances with 13 goals / assists in the same time frame.

He's not worth 30M, but I also don't believe that one game just dictates how good a player is or isn't. The lot of them were shite on Saturday, It doesn't make them all bad players and unable to play at a higher level.

We are well clear of FFP but we don't spend a lot so that's to be expected. We pocketed 10M on Stewart and rumoured to have got about 4M for Lihadji who went to Qatar, both deals late in the summer window so we really need some quality this window.

One poor performance doesn't indicate we are absolutely shite and light years away. We are light years away from competing with a Prem team that's invested significantly and will continue to do so for years and years to come, That isn't realistically who we can look to be. Anyone who gets promoted now faces a huge battle to stay up anyway, So you might aswell go for it and the worst thing that happens is you pocket the cash to build and go again to try and bridge the gap for the next time you go up. You never know whats round the corner.

It was probably one of his worst performances but he also wasn't given any supply or support to even have a go, Alese never overlapped and we had nothing on the right hand side to stretch the game so he was continuously doubled up on. He was up against a top class full back aswell.

A) I honestly don't think any of them were very good, I think Neil was probably the pick of a poor bunch as he at least looked to get onto the ball and didn't just give it away like Bellingham or Ekwah. B) Isak is a handful for any defence nevermind ours, However I thought Joelinton caused us massive problems by drifting into the left hand channels to free up Gordon and we didn't know what to do. Once the game went 1-0 it was a stroll in the park for Bruno also.

Well done lads, thoroughly deserved win, We barely had a sniff. Very disappointing performance from us, I expected a lot more.
