Yes that's about right. Old capacity used to be around 49K but then they shifted the away fans into the upper tier, further segregation had to come in which reduced the maximum capacity. I think it went down further as they blocked out the front 5 or so row in the away section due to coins coming down from previous away fans. I think there's also been a few hundred taken out to be used for the extension of boxes and some new restaurant (corporate bollocks) There was however no 'empty blocks of seats' on Saturday whatsoever, the game was a sell out, so unless some fans who also happen to sit together, decided in unison prior to the game to not turn up, what's being said is a complete myth - https://www.safc.com/news/2025/july/16/general-admission-for-premier-league-opener-sold-out--only-premium-space-remains/ I never get the obsession fans on both sides, or anywhere in the country have about attendances. Just look after yourself, go and support your team as you can't affect what others do.

You are talking shite, once again.
-
The game was a sell out, but lets not let facts get in the way of you spinning your constant drivel.
-
Because he's asked me on numerous occasions what my username is on said site.
-
You are continuously calling someone you don't know, a 'coward', on an online football message board, because you want to give them a username for a site they do not use. You're weird.

Same rhetoric (whilst making no sense) from the boards biggest nugget.

Would you want him to? From an outsider looking in, he seems to have made his stance clear and he's gone about it completely the wrong way. Its irreparable damage. Everything that Howe seems to stand for and has built in terms of togetherness, work rate etc, shouldn't be undone because of this nugget. He's undoubtedly world class, arguably irreplaceable, but 130/140M is incredible money, transformable for the rest of the squad. He could get injured in the first week of the season and be out for months. I would honestly cash in at this stage, provided Liverpool offer around 130 which they probably will.
-
Lets wait and see then, no excuses for him this season.
-
He’s played like that for the last few years tbf.
-
‘he’s still better than your keeper’ You would hope so, You are in the CL ffs.
-
… and he was shipped out as he was deemed not good enough, since then its proven to be the right decision as he’s went onto be relegated twice, out of the England squad and ultimatley not particulaly sought after. He’s not horrendous, but as mentioned above he isn’t going to improve you nor do I think he’s better than what you already have.
-
Apologies I’m not glued to the board. You must be forgetting I started posting on here when we were in League One to offer some balance.
-
No one is solely responsible for a relegation. I think you are forgetting the position you are in though. A CL club with a pretty outstanding first 11 and your getting a keeper that is no better than what you have.
-
You always this serious?
-
He’s no better than Pope, Has been relegated three times and openly spoke about not being able to concentrate for the length of a game. Amazed your spinning his signing as a positive to be honest, but each to their own.

Pretty hard to have a stellar career when everyone we bring in is about 15. On a serious note, We have brought in two players with experience. Renildo & Xhaka, who both I would argue have had superior careers to Ramsdale. Not really sure it means anything though, two clubs at polar opposite ends of the market they shop in. That being said, I would have been wounded if we brought Ramsdale in. Personally think he’s shite and the seagulls would have distracted him.

No debt, PL money, Sold Clarke, Watson & Bellingham (60M-ish)
