Targett was an attacking fullback at Villa. That’s gone from his game and probably because of Eddie’s orders. -

He’s played 86 games and he still rarely looks for any option other than what’s best for him.I see good in him,you see no bad in him.He creates space to pass to team mates in better positions. He’s very good at that, but often he ‘uses’ the player instead of using the player.Give him the ball on the half way line with 11 opposition players in front of him and more often than not he’ll go to attack them.He needs to change but so far he’s done what he wants to do.It cannot continue.I’d love to see him creating chance after chance on the right wing, where I’d like to see him personally but when a pass is the better option,he has to use that option. He has to change or has to go. -

He knows what he should be doing but he decides not to do it. -

It was the scout who spotted Andy Robertson’s potential. As for Brucey getting invited into Robertson’s box,he THINKS it was against Roma, even though it was only a couple of years ago.Brucey Bullshit. -

ASM is our only wide player in attack. If you expect other players to put more crosses into the box ( chances for other players to score) then I don’t think you realise what the first job of an attacking wide player is.He rarely looks up therefore rarely sees opportunities to play a penetrating pass.I would liked to have seen him given a chance on the right.Would he be more of a team player? That would be his choice..Would he create more chances? That again would be his choice. -
I would imagine Eddie has told him to hold back from charging down the wing without the ball because there’d be little chance of receiving the ball from ASM
-
Fingers crossed the mackems get out of the Championship at the first attempt, just like last time.

You’re totally missing the point my friend. -

Play two wingers including one who refuses to chase back. We’d be back to conceding 3 and 4 regularly. I would have given him a chance him a chance on the right wing last season.Saying that, there would still be know guarantee that he would get the ball into the danger area at the first opportunity. We’re looking to go to the next level and playing ASM regularly on the left wing would hinder that plan. -

Less than two chances per game created. When you consider how often he gets into positions to create a chance, even by just putting a cross into the danger area.Poor.Very poor. -

And failed to place a pass in front of Wilson to put him through on goal. We remember the odd occasions when he’s passed to a team mate which is quite sad really. -
When I look at Jeff Brown I always feel he could make money in gurning tournaments
-
On player recruitment I hope
-
I cannot see Rotherham or Wigan splashing the cash, but with the parachute money I expect Burnley,Norwich and Watford fighting for promotion next season.
-
Nah,it goes on trophies won.

He slows the play down when team mates are up with him.The quick pass for Wilson’s goal was a one off. -

ASM doesn’t want to defend,so rarely does.I don’t suppose Wood and Wilson want to help out the defence either, but being team players they do.That attitude is no good if we’re to progress next season. -

And feigning injury.Sometimes these mystery injuries result in him limping off.Too many things wrong in his game ( mind) if we’re looking to threaten the top 6 either next season or the season after. -
Ha ha.Give it time and they’ll be saying Tyne and Wear is predominantly red and white, and always has been.
-
Are the mackems still laughing about us signing Villa’s reserve left back? The lads composure is tremendous. He’ll get even better when we sign a wide, left sided midfield player, who he can get a partnership going with.
-
Getting chucked out of Co Durham has left them seething and I cannot see them ever getting over it.They continue to spout nonsense about every town and village within the old Co Durham borders is predominantly red and white.

He was looking to release the ball quicker yesterday so maybe he’s starting to realise it’s not all about him. However, when we’re under the cosh, like we usually are in the second half,he shows little interest in helping out in defence.Wood gets back to help out,as does Almiron and Wilson.I’d still look to get rid this summer though.Good teams don’t ‘carry’ players. -
That’s pressure
