Might be worth 20 pound on Any Other?
-
Been on the Coast for three years though. Completely acclimatised to balmy Terrigal. Terrigal, New South Wales - Wikipedia

He played at the Mariners with Kye Rowles (who is also destined for the EPL, just quietly) and is good mates with Cammy Devlin. He'll be happy there, considering he's only 18 and was still living with his mum until last week.

There are plenty of other Aussies who've had long careers in Scotland. It's just that Kuol is lightning paced so, with zero sport science to my knowledge, I wonder whether that pace endangers him more than slower players - esp when twisting and turning (which he does a lot).
-
Not much fazes him. For me, the bigger worry is the heavier Scottish pitches. The last Aussie wunderkind (Daniel Arzani) tore his ACL on debut for Celtic and his career has never recovered. Tragic.

Surely Tiger will be his nickname... Tiger quoll - Wikipedia

Seriously, take out Celtic and Rangers and the SPL is no better than the A League. Boro would be perfect to give him a taste of the north and a solid jump in quality. We're talking about the kid that tore Barca to shreds... the Championship won't scare him. In fact the challenge of promotion would absolutely inspire him. Boro's the club...

Such a player. Only played 45 mins though yesterday. Hope he's not injured.
-
Kuol playing AGAINST Newcastle today. Could be ominous...
-
If he hits that shot just a foot higher it bulges the net and makes headlines all over the world. Gonna be some player.
-
Yep. Probably only came on against France (when we were well beaten) to lock him in for the future. My tip for the Argie game - it'll go to extra time (and maybe pens) and Kuol will come on late. He can take a pen.
-
Didn't come on v Tunisia but I suspect he'll play a role against Denmark. Time for the lad to show us what he's got.
-
Hopefully see more of him against Tunisia... and before the match is over.
-
Two good runs but no service at all. Nothing to see yet. France were awesome - boys v men.
-
Too late though Arnie, you cunt!
-
Oz play France tonight. Garang very likely to come on second half.
-
I think this is definitely the case, hence the possibility that he will go out on loan to a Euro club.
-
There were a few, including stuttgart, barca and Celtic but NUFC offered him a ridiculous wage ( for a 17 yo ) and showed him a proper career pathway. They wanted him the most and all kids in Oz grow up watching the EPL. All his dreams come true plus a World Cup!!! Those odds for top scorer are very juicy indeed

Aah sorry. My understanding is that if you’re an international in something like the top 20 ranked nations you have much better prospects for a work permit. Oz is thirty something so such players need to have played 75 percent of recent matches. I think he’ll definitely play all matches in Qatar but if that’s not enough the club can apply on the basis of outstanding youth talent that would benefit the league. Otherwise he’ll go loan an Portugal has been mentioned but I’ve also read that clubs all over Europe are bidding to have him. No idea how true that is.

Re-read earlier posts, just a couple back…
-
Not usually, but garang leaves with the club’s blessing and everyone wants him to do well. Still want him to do well for us before he goes.
-
The way NUFC are going right now, no team will fancy playing them. Based on recent results the Toon are a chance against anyone, including Arsenal and City. Howe has done an amazing job with the squad he has but I suspect there’ll be a couple of quality signings in Jan to help maintain momentum. Anything less than fourth would be a disappointment now.
-
And just quietly, I’d not be at all surprised to see Oz get out of the group. Qatar is a weird place to play - especially at this time of year, but Oz due to Covid have played about 12 matches there in the last 18 months. We’re used to the conditions and while there’s not huge quality in our squad there’s plenty of pace and aggression. If used properly we might upset some more fancied countries. I also think Iran, Korea, Japan and one or two African countries are likely to be dark horses. Senegal in particular.
-
I’d call him the Aussie Mbappe. In all seriousness, his pace and finishing are lethal and regardless of how Oz go In Qatar, he’ll be one of the names talked about. To answer another question, I think if he plays every game he’ll either qualify for a work permit outright or be eligible for NUFC to apply for an exemption as an outstanding youth player. Might well be playing for the Toon by January. He’s good enough already.
