  1. I'm hoping they bring home Robbie Keane from Ferencvaros
  2. Thanks! So it seems like it limits the pool of clubs that can take a risk on more established players to either those with other areas of profit or those with established footballing revenue. Would be interesting to see how PL clubs would have fared without mega money deals from Saudi clubs. Yeah, my thinking was that it will effect transfer demand for players past say 26-27. You're right though that that could benefit players - either their current club is incentivised to keep them or they can get more money out of a new club that will be saving a transfer fee. Does feel like PSR might decrease transfer activity overall which presumably isn't good for the football economy, will be interesting to see what things look like in a few years.
  3. Can someone in the know on PSR help me out? Does it effectively mean that you have to sign players with a view to reselling at a profit? Or would there be a way to sign an expensive older player who would end their career with you without it being financially ruinous? A system that means you can't buy players older than about 25 seems very bad for clubs and players.
  4. Can't believe this isn't on TV. I mean I'd be tense as anything watching it but not sure I'll be any less tense checking updates or trying to find a reliable alternative viewing experience.
  5. Bruno seems to be getting a lot of space and time on the ball, usually a good sign. He's made a few top passes already.
  6. Raya having one of those one-off five a side type games where nothing will get through...so far.
  7. Great save from Pope. Been lively this so far!
  8. It was a nervy one but such a massive win. Burn was great, Barnes a bit frustrating, Pope did well when called upon, pleased to find Miley's baby-face is made of bricks. Let's just beat Arsenal next and be relaxed whilst we're tonking Everton on the last day!
  9. Dan Burn did very well for the goal there, he's put in a very strong performance.
  10. One of the biggest second half slumps I've seen from us. Glad we're still ahead, would love another goal...
  11. Luton on for a back to back relegation, what's gone on there? Haven't followed but just assumed parachute payments would see any relegated club safe.
  12. They both love running straight at goal, it's mint
  13. Wow, redeemed by the world's worst penalty
  14. It's a mad decision to come for the ball. But he did touch it. The ref has guessed this.
  15. In the Reddit thread about the Gayle interview there was a Hull fan saying he was arguably their best ever manager. Felt sorry for them. If you look at his record there, he got them promoted, survived one PL season, lost the FA cup final and then lost in the playoffs of their first European campaign. Then got them relegated the next season. He's fucking dogshit as a manager and a nasty cunt to boot. Gayle was as nice as could be in that interview, hardly gave him a shoeing.
