When Howe came out straight after qualifying with his comments about speed in the transfer market it didn't quite feel right to me. The fact he felt he needed to put some message/pressure out there smelt. -

I agree mostly but I think if he had blown I think VAR could have ended up incorrectly allowing it. Match of the day and ref watch did not pick up on the hand stand.

What's the easiest way to relive the season, league and cup? I see the playlist on YouTube but the order seems off - Edit1 - Hmm I can't see to share a link to the playlist. It shares a link to the first video. This is what I was trying to sharee that's in the wrong order: https://www.youtube.com/@NUFC/playlists Edit2 - I think I'll do this. On the official site the seem to be in order - https://www.newcastleunited.com/en/video/playlists/gv-C?isExid=true Edit3 - bollox that does not have the cup games in there. I'd like easy way to watch the whole season in order! -
Indeed - Given that the ref made the decision on field. Let's say he did not blow. Was there even enough proof to overturn the on field decision? Especially looking at that and the ambiguity of the rule. In the comments of the above tweet the Manc goes all in on the "between hands argument"!.

From a villa perspective yesterday was probably played out as painfully as it could have done: - being on an incredible run heading into the final day - not turning up in the key game (again) - sending off - the Everton goal giving them hope - the injustice of the ruled out goal - then Man Utd scoring - now knowing even a draw would have been enough - being us that got the place (given they seem to hate us so much) - PSR worries due to the financial loss - now it will have the reminder of their failure for at least 8 games for us next year A lot of Villa fans are ok, I feel bad for them. The "Sob on the tyne" ones that kicked us when we were down, screw you guys.

In hindsight I light the way it played out. Fuck you villa. 😂 -
🤣 it was deliberate. Today they can be united.
-
Always loved united.
-
Champions league. We’ll have a laugh.
-
Pathetic. But get the fuck in. Amusing to see villa lose out that way if nothing else.
-
Utter dross. Pathetic. Still time to win this but we deserve where we are.

I can’t quite believe haw shit we are.
