I’m not sure what is better for Villa’s motivation. Spurs win and their game is 100% must win for a chance of Europe. If Spurs lose it may feel like a real chance to cement their place. Maybe it doesn’t matter much either way I’m probably over thinking ?

Ideally I’d not sell a single one of our top starting line up plus the next couple on the bench. We should be buying players that are better and they become the squad ones. For example If you sell Miggy and we are in Europe we need two players to replace him. One to start one for the squad.

We've been a tad lucky our game was picked for Monday to give us an extra day.

When he booked Bruno I though he was going to go card crazy and influence the game with a sending off. Fortunately he calmed down and we only got 1 more. I guess that shows that he genuinely thought it was worth a yellow. I thought he did ok, which is a lot better than my average opinion of a ref. I think the Liverpool connections could have actually had the reverse result as he knew he would be slaughtered if there was anything dubious that was game changing.
