True. We need a non homer ref. If they get free kicks for every 50/50 that will even things up -

I'm taking The Burnley game as a slight positive - https://www.nufc.com/html/2021-22html/2021-12-04burnley-h.html Dyche was still manager. We went bottom, 3 points behind them and won. -

It will be an interesting 20 minuets. Do they go for it and try to get the crowd but risk us scoring or sit back and lose some of the crowd. -

Yeah the West Ham game they dominated after our goals and scored at the end and were looking to level up before half time without creating too much. The second half I was nervous until they imploded with the early goal. That just knocked the wind out their sales I we edged the rest of the match and got two latish goals. It didn't feel like a 5-1. -

5 early goals and we'll smash this. -
that's going to be the reason given . He's lowering his arm as he's hitting the floor he needs to brace himself. Its all bullshit and enough space in the rules for human judgment to allow the either corruption or incompetency to prevail.
-
the argument tonight will be how close he was. The "natural" arm position will be forgotten.
-
They need ongoing stats specifically on when incorrect/dubious var decisions get the previous big 6 points. It's easy to have 2-3 bad decisions that don't matter. We've had at least 3 that cost us points.
-
nope three hands balls
-
pen - was it a body weight one?
-
30 seconds of West Ham magic would be huge. Come on
-
both at home. If they win them all we can drop 8-9 points. We have to play Arsenal and Brighton. Thursday is huge. For the points psychologically denting Liverpools hopes even slightly.
-
The only complete guess I can make is there was no one internal willing to step up.
-
Being devils advocate to Lampard I don't know how you pick a team. Who's good in training? But the squad is quality but a mess. He's probably picking a team based on who is working hardest and not waiting for the next manager. (Plus he does not have a clue and should be no where near the job)

?

I take that back. Kinnear was utter insanity.
-
the decision is up there with Kinnear.
-
its so much easier as a neutral. Its coming and will come sooner rather than later. I recon as long as they have second before 70th (ish) min its done. And I'm pretty convinced it will be at least 2 by then
-
It was fast break but on first watch De Bruyne should have had someone sprinting to give an option there. I could be off not seen a replay yet.
-
That's what I hope. Ideally icing on the cake as we're already 4-0 up in 15 mins In reality I would 100%, injuries aside, keep the same team due to the 6-1 and sub early if possible. So this is more hypothetical.
-
Taking away the keep the same team as we won 6-1 sentiment. Would you start him based on the emotional side? Will the atmosphere make him nail it or get a red card? I think bruce would 100% start him as he preferred the emotion to tactics. I am leaning to no start to protect him so I'll say he should be on the bench... just..
-
this is probably posted else but if it is its worth repeating. Don't Giggs me. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/65398627 I think this is outstanding by Howe as usual. After reading I'm 75% he won't start. And I think it's probably the right decision. But Howe knows shit loads more than me so lets see!
-
I do too. I really want him to succeed. I've said it before, but I think he's a far more rounded player than what I thought we were getting. I thought he was all pace, but he does have a football brain.

yeah it was out of this world. Joelinton touches to go round the keeper were outstanding too. I think I'd rank them in order: Isaks 1st Murphy 2nd Joelinton Isaks 2nd Murphy 1st
