  1. Nah, we shouldn't offload Gordon or Barnes imo. Our left wing's sorted for next season with them two. Gordon'll be back to his best, I reckon. Last time we were in the Champions League, we spent around £40m on Livramento, £40m on Barnes, and £60m on Tonali – about £150m in total. I'd guess we've got something similar this time. I'd flog Longstaff for a tidy profit too. We need a right winger, so Murphy's on the bench, a right centre-back, meaning Schar's on the bench, and a new keeper. Goalkeeper Livramento New RCB Botman Hall Big Joe Tonali Bruno New RW Isak Gordon. That's a top XI, if we get our signings right. Barnes Murphy Burn Schar Lascelles Pope Miley New CM New striker Osula Willock Krafth We add a two cheap pick ups. So thats like 5/6 signings. But we need to go big on a RW and RCB.
  2. Sob on the holte, love it. Hate that that team.
  3. We don't need to get a crazy fee for him, we're good with the cash, but PSR headroom's the issue. Even if we move him after four years for 25 million, we'll still profit on PSR. It's just like Almiron and Maxi, that's what we need. Think Bruno, or big Joe – they'll depreciate over the next couple of seasons. If we sell either for 30 million to the Saudis or whoever in 2028, we'll make a nice PSR profit. That's why I don't get the resale value argument. We wanna make the Champions League every year and fight for the title, and you can't do that by selling your best players. So resale value shouldn't even be a discussion with PIF backing us.
  4. I see where you're coming from, even if I don't agree. I need a top-notch forward, and Mbuemo's the one for me. He's got a Premier League pedigree, and his goal and assist numbers are insane. Let's just agree to disagree.
  5. Mbuemo is 26, not 30. He has room to grow in our team. He has atleast 4 more seasons at the top if his game.
  6. Enter Chelsea 😃
  7. Mate. What's Lamine Yamals xg90 and xA90 compared to Murphy ?
  8. I agree with this.
  9. Alright, so for the right wing in this league, you've got Salah, Saka, and Mbeumo. Maybe Palmer before Mbeumo, it's close, but he's right up there, I think.
  10. Like? For an example? Who you have in mind? On Mbeumo you're missing a huge stat about him! He's got 69 goals and assists in 135 Premier League games for Brentford. That's almost a goal or assist every two games – crazy consistency! That's the most important stat, really. Even before this season, his numbers were awesome, and he's only getting better. With our team creating more chances, he'll be even better (just look at Murphy). Imagine him in front of our midfield, feeding Isak, with Gordon/Barnes on the other wing. Come on, mate, this is a no-brainer! You won't find another Premier League-proven 26-year-old with better stats who'd be so keen to join us. You get someone from the continent and you taking a risk. We might not be able to afford him etc, fair play but this guy is the real deal. Again... 69 goals or assists in 135 Premier League games. No-brainer
  11. It's a no-brainer, we gotta be in on that deal. His goals and assists the last two seasons have been crazy! Isak, Gordon, Barnes, Mbeumo, Murphy – that's an insane front line!
  12. Bruno, Tonali, Isak, etc. should only leave when they're over the hill, not at their peak. We wanna be fighting for the Champions League every year, and hopefully the league title soon. Keep your best players, you know? If we need to sell to make money, sell Willock, Longstaff, Targett, etc., not our best players.
  13. If we sell Bruno for 120 m hypothetically, who would you go for to replace him?
  14. I agree Rice strikes it cleaner, however Bruno is more accurate in his shooting than Rice and Tonali.. Way more accurate. I think thats the big difference.
  15. I know..thats why i played along.
  16. Mate. No need to apologise and noone has done anything to upset me.
  17. I think you took that the wrong way. Am not lashing out mate.
  18. Lol I am chilled. Im just pointing out thats all. It's really nothing
  19. He is right at the top in that area for midfielders in the Prem. Go figure.
  20. I guess if bruno is that terrible at shooting as most will say..i guess we have rubbish CM's in the league currently when it comes to shooting.
  21. That's just wrong, mate. Compared to other Premier League midfielders, he's right up there above Rice and the rest. That's a fact. He's scored more goals from outside the box than Rice. No argument there.
  22. Ahhh well let me give you some stats to debunk your assertion. Rice has a shot accuracy of 41.48, bruno G 47.62. Rice has a shot success of 8.37 and Bruno G 14.69. Im sure you get the picture Rice's Dad.
  23. Stats prove otherwise though If you comparing him to Rice. Unless of course you have your own stats to back your assertion. Which i obviously doubt very much.
  24. This is what we need. Not a Rice.
