I've been collecting shirts for over 40 years and have no idea what this is referencing.
-
Sela seem to be willing to change the colour of their logo to fit in with our shirts, sadly Noon are not as accommodating.
-
I think your right although I don't think it's deliberate from adidas. It has more in common with 98/99 than it does 98/98.
-
It does actually have that stripe on it, it's just hidden (see Joelinton7's post)
-
Explain - I cannot see this.
-
If you look closely Isaks dress pants actually have the adidas three stripes on them. Dear me.
-
Hope it's got another catchphrase on the back: LETS FUCKING GIVE IT TO THEM would be good.
-
Hopefully cup font is orange
-
I actually quite like it in long sleeves. Nowt futuristic about it tho.
-
"Step into the future of football fashion with the Newcastle United FC 25/26 Third Jersey." Haha.

I've seen that Chelsea have categories AA all the way down to F. Sadly it doesnt indicate who is in what category yet. I'd laugh my head off if Sunderland were category F.
-
Don't agree with that like. Burnley's only rivalry is with Blackburn 'Bastard' Rovers, don't think there's anything between them and Man Utd. It's just supply and demand - they know they have to charge the lowest amount for Sunderland because they are the least glamorous, least appealing team in the league. This is now a quantifiable fact, given this new evidence.

According to Transfermrkt Scalvini missed 33 games in 23/24: But his wikipedia page says he played 44 times in 23/24: That doesn't add up.
-
They should be in category D all by themselves. Seems a shame to tar Wolves with the same brush. Although Sunderland (category c) has a nice ring to it. I'd be interested to know how the other teams have categorised them.
-
Sunderland (category C)

This comment went under the radar last week but it is proof that no one outside their own fanbase considers them to be a big team. This is independent proof of that. Man Utd categorise the Premier League as follows - Category A (£59-97) : Man City Liverpool Arsenal Spurs Chelsea Newcastle Category B (£57-£86): Villa Palace Brentford Fulham Bournemouth Brighton Leeds Burnley Everton Forest West Ham Category C (£37-£60): Zunderland Wolves Not only not a big team, but a level below second tier teams! Both the other promoted teams are in the category above. Imagine the fewm when they see they are considered a less attractive draw that Bournemouth, Brentford and even Burnley! I reckon that if Wolves had been relegated instead of Leicester, SAFC would have been category C all by themselves. They'll be fewmin!

Yes that is very distracting
-
Are you joking? (Assume you are)

Anyone seen 28 years later? Just got out of it, apart from being the strangest film I've seen in a long time, it features a scene with featuring 96-97 away shirt.
-
Where is this intel from?
-
Massive improvement. Doesn't need the circle round the badge.
-
I wonder if they aren't allowed to have proper silver kits any more. Can't think of any since the two Umbro 80s ones. The adidas and Puma ones were just light grey and not really silver. Desperately want a trefoil silver shirt.
-
PL don't have on orange option but the club font might do.

That 3rd shirt is awful. Apart from the fact it's inspired by a shirt that has zero good vibes associated with it, it's also a terrible tribute to the original - that 98 shirt was interesting because of the vertical stripes, the offset sponsor, the unusual colours and the giant seahorse. This new one doesn't have ANY of that and the colours are wrong. The only thing it seems to get right is the badge but I've never known anyone have any fondness for the original. Also, that type of collar is never popular. Would love to know if adidas do market research on these things.
