So in your opinion the club didn't know what it was doing when they signed Trippier, Bruno, Isak and Gordon? You don't think they've proven to be quite astute signings?

Nowadays you don't just have to worry about the performance of your team on the pitch -if you make massive signings like this, you then have a whole new world of worry about whether your commercial operations are making enough money off the pitch to stop you getting points deductions. No excuse for DH Gate anymore if this goes through, everyone must do their bit.

Just been browsing the Guehi thread on the CPFC equivalent of this site - it seems many on there aren't too bothered what the outcome of this saga is, with a few thinking he wouldn't be too badly missed.

I think he means the away looks virtually identical in both versions.

They've got those outdoor heater lamp things that radiate heat equivalent to being inside the sun so it won't be cold in winter.

The best thing about the away is the two different types of material on the stripes. It will look very good in person I think.

Just been watching the Transfer Show on Sky Sports News, talking about Guehi the host just proclaimed "these spending rules aren't fair, its all about protecting old money!" The other guy says this is something all the Premier League teams voted for so we can't complain.

Billy Whitehurst was bloody awful, as was Tony Cunningham. They were like second rate versions of Rambo Reilly.

Its a bit odd that they aren't using these numbers in the friendlies, other teams always use the club font.

The execution of the badge is a bit weird on both these shirts, the Authentic has like a rigid placca badge with fake stitching on it and a weird pixelated magpie. The replica has a very thin transfer rather than embroidery but a normal magpie. There's some people that seem to absolutely love embroidered badges, in fact they demand it! Not sure what the thinking behind that was.
