Hope he does well at the World Cup and is able to really put himself in the shop window. Can say that about a number of our players such as Gordon, Woltemade and Livramento. We need these players to have a good World Cup to maximise the transfer fees we can get for them.

Trump will insist he be the one to do the trophy lift.

Apologies for earlier post. Thoughtless comment from me.

Got to make him earn his keep somehow if he's not going to be playing football.
-
Put him to work in the fields if we don't get European football. Come back on Juneteenth - Mike

Are people still clinging onto the hope of getting European football next season? Personally, I just can't see it now. We've had ample opportunities to get ourselves right into the mix, and have blown it every single time. We will need to win our 6 remaining games to stand a chance, and that is not happening with the way we've been playing. Quite frankly, we have been utter pants for 90% of this season, even in a lot of the games that we won.
-
Of course I'd take that as well, but are we getting a new stadium and training ground with the Saudis?
-
I want owners who are willing to prioritise us and do whatever they can to make us the best we can be. I just want us to be somebody's number 1. We were an afterthought with Mike Ashley. And it is starting to feel like we are afterthought with these lot from Saudi.

How did Betis manage to afford to pay a world record fee for Denilson back in the day? That always struck me as one of the oddest transfers in football history.
-
Yep, gone are the days of Juventus, Bayern, Inter Milan etc winning the old UEFA Cup. Back when it was a harder competition to win than the European Cup/Champions League.
-
Given the choice between Forest and Villa, it is Forest all the way for me. Forest in the Champions League after all these years would be quite something.
-
Two very different types of players no? You play both of them together, not one or the other.
-
I don't really see it as a missed opportunity TBH. We have been shite for the most part this season and deserve to be where we are, which is firmly in mid-table.
-
Watch them get relegated and still be in a position to outspend us in the summer. These fucking rules, man.

It could be worse, we could be Spurs.
