Yeah my guess is he meant the question as "if we take you at your word, does that mean Gordon isn't going to play?". I think it was more of a question to bring up Gordon's shitty actions rather then poking at Eddie. Despite the results this season, I haven't seen anyone attack his character. This feels like he worded it incorrectly. However, if he did mean it that way, then he can get fucked cause Eddie is one of the few managers that actually answers questions as truthfully as he can compared to 99% of managers who go up there and blame the officials, their players, or even their mother-in-law instead of accepting blame for anything.

I feel like some people need to temper their expectations. We aren't gonna have a game where we go out there and control a team like Brighton. Not with this team. It's a win against a team that is battling for Europe.

I feel like people aren't giving Brighton enough credit. They hadn't lost in five including a win against liverpool. The 2nd half was obviously torture but we also missed a couple sitters that would of made this look much better. I just want to get though the season with a resemblance of momentum so this could at least quiet down the negativity surrounding the club.

So your saying that the opinions on Eddie are only valid if the thread about PIF has the same amount of traffic?

As someone who has grown up in the states watching most sports, you rarely here someone speak like that about their manager. It's just not smart to do because the media loves to jump at shit like that. I think it may just be a tactic to show the fans they aren't happy but I just hope it isn't more then that. So many problems come from Isak leaving. Eddie is gonna be more determined then ever to right the ship. He's earned the right to prove that.

He's earned himself next season. I get the anger but so many teams get stuck in a loop of shit managers that they have to keep firing. I think we forget that he's still a young manager. I have no doubt he will use this and become better. If anybody has earned the right to prove that, it's him.

The biggest problem I have is that stat about being the worst team in the league at losing points from winning positions this season. Crazy.

It's just so frustrating because it's something we've been doing all year and we just can't fix it.

Yeah the timing of it was heartbreaking but the defense held one of the best teams in the world to a clean sheet for 94 minutes and he was a major part of that. It was just a good move in the box by a player with fresh legs. I don't think Thiaw was expecting Olmo to turn in right away so he panicked a little bit. Just one of those things. I mostly just feel bad for him cause I'm sure he feels it more than anyone.
