You've gotta admit, if you're a self-serving cunt who sees NUFC as a stepping stone, the saga and negativity around Isak and us holding our ground may look unattractive. The positives here outweight the above IMO, but then I would say that, being a Geordie and general distaste for Manure and their ilk.
-
Alreet, who we going to get cucked for next lads?
-
I imagine he is open to both with what seems like a preference for Manure. That's a preference, so he's likely happy to tell both teams he'll play with them to drive better negotiations for contract and sale (agents payday).
-
Cmon mate it's not collusion. Clearly they're threatened and naturally that means if they can they'll take targets we/others desire by financial and historical clout. They've not sat around smoking cigars discussing their next plan to stifle the market.
-
You've said yourself with great detail how him and his agent are tight with Leipzig. Could it be the simplest conclusion, they want Manure to match our terms? If it's not, then I agree it's bizarre.

New spin on the only wants shite. Club believes he only wants. This guy is a proper bellend.
-
Exists only in your head, sadly.
-
Did we not give a deadline? Can just wait it out if he wants more time to think and default to his preferred choice (least how it was portrayed early on).
-
Did you also fat finger Sun'lend into 12th?
-
Plus you can never trust a cunt with a proceding hairline.

Let's say he does join. It's not like he needs to score at Isak levels anyway. If he can keep his output roughly from Leipzig and we have Wissa or similar, we'd break even or do better without having a dead weight at 65mins every game standing around the oppositions half.

It's nice to feel wanted and Ramsdale's enthusiasm/personality fits so well. Hope he finds form for us.
-
Totally agree. He's the same age as Osula, not the finished package but neither is Hall, Tino, Gordon etc and you've seen their improvements. That's not the only reason it's a perfect place to come. I said the same Friday, our wingers are ideal for a player like wor Benny.

Aye but Trafford is as much a future buy as Sesko. You're buying an appreciating asset. Plus, Ramsdale has an option to buy so we can just fob it off with no further financial ramifications if we so wish. Disclaimer: Nothing is ever a sure bet

You can't amortise a sale, so you could drop loads this year but you'd need to keep selling to ensure you losses don't break the £105m each following year.
-
Plus, at the end of the season the list of prospective buyers grows substantially. Fuck Livahpoo

Doubt he cares, with the amount of rats they have they'll be fine.
-
Obviously, best laid plans and all that. I doubt anyone expected the shitshow of denials and delays we've encountered but still think when the window ends it needn't be all doom and gloom, but I am glass-half-full.
-
Bit late but totally agree. I think if you look at the window you can see the intent. Our earlier choices were Mbuemo, Pedro and Trafford. We pivoted to Elanga for RW, Ekitike for ST and didn't drop that 30m~ on Trafford instead £4m loan for Ramsdale. If those incomings had came off, the spend would be somewhere approaching £150m. I think it was clear the intent was also to keep Isak alongside this. To me this indicates that we expected to sell Isak in this financial window but at the year end to tie off accounts.
