Finishing 12th is a sign of a failing project and things just not working; managers don’t turn it round, and finish top 4/5 the following season. Carrying on with Eddie fills me with dread like, not just for it going wrong, but how it’ll taint his legacy. I’d much rather he just walked away in a week or two, “Cheers Eddie, legend! Thanks for the last few years.” Rather than going through the rigmarole of same again next season, the pressure, another wasted season and his inevitable sacking.

I’m so happy to have a serious break from this like. What a fucking tiresome season.
-
I mean, we’re finishing 12th, and ending the season on a pretty shit loss against a team that finished 11th, the mackems have qualified for Europe and beat Chelsea. Would you not call that a low?
-
Completely fucking shite like.
-
110 million for him and Elanga. 110. Million. For Wissa. And. Elanga.
-
They’re hardly the Galacticos mate, and beating Sunderland shouldn’t be the gauge of a good side.
-
Mackems getting Europe whilst we struggle against Fulham…. Abysmal.
-
Try on the website, they have a section for premier league and were one of the last games there.
-
You’d never guess this was 11th vs 13th on the last game of the season like, fucking end to end… breathtaking man.
-
Getting some success down the right like.

Newcastle United 3-1 Brighton & Hove Albion - 02/05/26

Pleasantly surprised at how good we’ve been this half. Osula and Willock are scaring the shit out of Brighton. Just hoping we don’t do our usual “uncharacteristic” second half capitulation. -

We definitely need a 3rd here like 😅 -
You’d think that would be the first question PIF ask Eddie during this coming meeting. It’s the equivalent of dropping £180 million on a new golf course and then when they visit, the manager has got them playing on a pitch and put behind an industrial estate.
-
Honestly it’s the front 3 you’d put out in a domestic cup when you can’t be arsed with progressing, know you’ll probably get beat and need to give the first team lads a rest.
-
Willock, Murphy, Osula is the sort of front 3 you’d expect to see from a newly promoted club in a (ironically) relegation battle.
-
Pftt…. Elanga for Murphy Barnes for Willock despite Joe looking promising on the ball. Game slides away. They get a second and Wissa Wolte stoppage time cameo.

Plain dry chicken. Big fan of the Chinese pork steaks you can get from tezzy wezzys this time of year.
-
And the teams that play like that aren’t going to want to pay anything like what we spent on him, so can see him having another season with us with similar performances and then heading to a newly promoted side for £10-15 million.

Wonder if the Newcastle United Foundation will cover the costs of my hypnotherapy to wipe this season from my memory? -

Elanga makes Shola look like prime Ronaldinho. -

Honestly mate, I find it infuriating that the players with all these “gentleman agreements” should we not get Europe or links to other clubs are the players routinely stinking the place out week in week out. Boils my piss 😂 -

The only silver lining is, that we need to play most of the teams fighting relegation so us being a complete bag of shit will help get Spurs relegated.
