No what we did was take Woltemade off with a plan of throwing Fabian up top last 10mins. Why the fcuk would you do that.

I'll give you a simple reason why Brobbey and Garnacho are not sent off. Brobbey on Miley = Miley jumped up immediately and started to run back to defend. Garnacho on Ramsey = Ramsey got back up after a second or so. Now compare them with fouls on Van Dick... Gordon on Van Dick = Van Dick follows the referee around and goes onto the floor rolling around in pain at a minimum of four times. Xavi on Van Dick = Van Dick gets fouled then looks at Xavi before going down and laying face down as if he'd been shot. Honest play from Miley and Ramsey give an easy out to VAR as it appears this serious or aggressive foul play has caused no injuries and therefore can't be as bad as they thought. Van Dick has dies several times over two tackles and only just manages to get back up with devine assistance. If Gordon, Barnes, Elanga, Bruno, Sandro are on the end of Brobbey or Garnacho fouls both would've been sent off after VAR. Honest players eh

Aaron Ramsdale: return to Southampton confirmed
TopL0ader replied to The Prophet's topic in Football
Raw facts are stats my man. Pope faces 200 shots and concedes only 1. Ramsdale faces 9 shots and concedes 6. Well 6 out of Ramsdale shots faced weren't stoppable. Pope should've saved all 200 shots by throwing a flat cap on them and the one he let in he tripped and the ball only just rolled over the line. I'm being daft I know but you can make stats fit any point of view. In summary Ramsdale has done nothing wrong, you have a conscious biased poor opinion of him, like I do but positive opinion as he hasn't done anything wrong as yet. A time come when I agree with you but for now he has not done anything really wrong -

You can't do that and make stats fit your point of view. It would work anyway to suit an argument. For example I bet the opponents XG has been higher in the games which Ramsdale has played which wouldn't be his fault for conceding goals. He has been at fault for none of the six goals we've conceded in the previous 4 games I don't believe. We need to be getting back to stats in 22-24 isn't a decent argument, it's like saying we need Shay Given in goal again -

Ramsdale in the games he has played whether you shit yourself on set pieces or not has done nothing wrong. Nothing.... I had to Google one suggestion SVILAR He is the one that caught it from a set piece and then walked over his own line conceding a goal... No thanks... -

Who? Most are saying we must sign a new keeper in January or end of the season but who? Very very easy to call for new players/staff but I don't think many will be able to say I would buy AB or C because of XY and Z and they're better than Ramsdale. Nowt wrong with Ramsdale he wasn't the one wrestling instead of attempting to head a football this evening. -

I'm lost what did Ramsdale do poor with tonight? First goal, way past the back stuck so he ain't coming to claim that, and then came off Bruno's ass and had no chance as it was out of reach. Second goal was basically a one on one and he made himself big but it went under his arm. Unlucky.. No corner was in the six yard box as Woltemade headed most and vollied a couple others clear. Passing and overall distribution was good other than the obvious clearence what nearly cost a goal but he made up for it with a solid save. Who is better and available realistically? -

I can see him not being as successful at Liverpool. He relied heavily on Murphy who provided eight assists for Isaks Premier League goals last season, and then there is Gordon's and Barnes' assists. Liverpool do not play that game of early crosses for the main man with Salah and Gakpo who both play out wide for themselves to cut in to shoot. Clutching at straws as I've never wanted a player to fail as much. Isak personally by his actions took £25m off his price tag and our weak management never fined him a weeks wage in doing so. Gutted!

Just one sub at the back and leave Burn at left back. Trippier off and Murphy off Elanga and Barnes on. Pope Tino, Schar, Botman, Burn Bruno, Tonali, Ramsey Elanga, Osula, Barnes

Mistakes cost managers jobs, mistakes cost players their position in the starting eleven. Mistakes cost referees what? They ought to be relegated to EFL and the better EFL referees promoted. No consequences hence no care in decisions being made

It should be made as tough as possible for Liverpool to do the deal after all the drama caused and a no value bid. I'd keep pushing Liverpool until they offered £150m and the second they offered £150m I'd reject it after all the heartache caused to the club, fans and obviously the backroom staff working hard to get a replacement in. Few hours of the transfer window to go I would demand £160m all up front and no addons crap.
