David Hopkinson seems to have an excellent CV, some jobs in huge sporting institutions. Responsible for everything from infrastructure builds to huge sponsorship deals (most notable being an 800m+ deal between Scotiabank and MLSE. I listened to this when he was first linked and he talks well, does a job. Forbes piece on him: https://www.forbes.com/sites/karlmoore/2019/10/18/david-hopkinson-is-taking-sports-marketing-global-at-real-madrid/

Think it's unlikely with Wilson given he's still at Forest but hopefully, if that is who the club have chosen for sporting director, they act fast to get him in ASAP.

Andy Howe would be losing his job and being replaced by an absolute don, once this is all over, if we were a serious club.

No I don't think so, the club brought in head hunters to do it. I'm sure they'll present candidates directly to the board.

Say it with me. Fire Sale!

Makes sense actually. Think the key difference is Khaldoon is "chairman" so likely somewhat more hands on whilst Yasir is "non-exec chairman" (even listed as Director on Companies House, not that it'll mean much in the grand scheme of things).

Phew, for a second there I was worried. Fuck off Graeme Bailey.
