We needed fight on Saturday. He’d tried technique over the previous 2 months.

With Burn, Osula and Joelinton starting you can see what Eddie is trying to do. He wants players on the pitch who will give 100% and is aiming for peak 2023 sh1thousery. I hope it works for him.
-
When Kane was 24 years old he’d just returned from loan in division 1. I’m not saying Nick is peak Harry Kane yet but maybe he can get near to it.
-
Harry Kane’s performance last night is the future for Nick. Focus of the attack, lots of runners off, flicking first time passes setting up chances galore. No wonder Bayern were after him. They could see his ability and position. Let’s hope Eddie has caught on.

If he walks, he’ll be walking into a new job pretty quickly and will take his staff along with him.

Hall was average at best v Bournemouth last week and definitely looked like he was due a rest. Yes, we sacrifice attacking talent with Dan Burn at left back but we look far tighter at the back if only because Dan is usually in position and will win any high balls down his side. Hope he is retained for Brighton next week as even a point would be helpful at the moment.

Put the pitchforks away lads. Gordon wouldn’t want to fall out with the club at this stage of the season with his England selection in the balance. So its unlikely that he has fallen out with Eddie. Much more likely he does have an injury and he and the medical team don’t want it getting worse.

The premier league have got his number now. Close him down, rough him up a little and he coughs up the ball.

The club are entirely focused on growing income. I think this is understandable and why available tickets are used for high revenue customers. If we want to compete with the top 6 at some point then I think we just have to suck this up. And I say this as a Member who didn’t get a ticket for the Mackem’s game and has come up with 1 successful ballot per season over the last 4 years.

This game reminds me of the autumn of our previous Champions League campaign. Away game after a midweek game. Lifeless error prone performance. Making life very easy for the opposition.
-
Amazingly I have been allocated tickets twice through the ballot this season (even though I only apply for PL games). In previous seasons I was only allocated 1 game all season. Does this mean there are more tickets going Ito the ballot this season? Or is it just a statistical aberration? In addition when I logged in at the appointed time this week to buy my ticket I found that there were 8,000 people ahead of me. Could this mean that 8,000 tickets are allocated to the ballot?

Kudus will be well rested after the season he’s just had with the Hammers.

The secret with Dan Burn is that he looks like our weakest player but he is far from it. Eddie Howe knew what he wanted doing when he played him at left back. Opposition managers would target him not realising that he is strong, deceptively quick and with long legs. Wingers could not find a way around him and meanwhile we were scoring at the other end. Unfortunately it’s no longer a secret within the game (see England call up) but seems to be unrecognised by some on here.
