  1. First of, I think Isak wants to play in the prem or maybe La Liga. Nothing below that. Which will probably have been communicated by his agent at some point? And tbf, PSG seem to have steered away from signing Galacticos and has a bit more sensible approach. They dont REALLY need another striker with Kolo Muani, Ramos and Dembele. Think they need to sell at least one of those prior to any big purchase. But this is just me guessing. Personally think he'd be bored out of his mind playing in Ligue 1 week in and week out
  2. Completely agree. However I dont think we need to be extreme. There are shrewd elite businessmen who dont make promises and then breaks them.
  3. The thing is, if this is going to be purely emotionless decision then it might very well be the opposite of what most people on here wants (rejecting Liverpools bid and demanding 150 mil plus). It might turn out to be that the club feel that a bid for 120-130 is good enough and dont want to risk having to sell for less next summer. Im not sure but it could be the outcome of a non emotional decision
  4. Its Spurs mate. No one strikes to get a move there
  5. As long as they keep a reasonable asking price, then Id say there are still clubs in England for Grealish. Phillips has Turkey written all over imo If nothing else, City will get bailed out by the Saudis
  6. They are clearly selling Grealish, McAtee, Phillips and maybe Gundogan so
  7. He is world class right now. If he keeps this up for another 10 years im pretty sure we will mention his name in the same sentence as that lot. Same goes for just about every player his age. No current player his age can be said to hold the same respect as players who played for over a decade at the highest level. So no need to compare just yet
  8. Why? Because we didnt give him the contract offer he was promised a year ago and hasnt sorted still, despite an amazing season? I get the frustration, I do, and it speaks volumes how much Isak has made an impression that people want to see him as the bad guy but this isnt snakeish behavior. This is elite footballer wanting to earn what he deserves. He and most other players dont have the same viewpoint as us supporters. To them, this is a job. If we cant give him a contract, or we fucked it up, fair enough. Blame is on us. Sell him. We dictate the price or he stays another year. Just like Kane or Gerrard. But to only blame the player and call him a snake is just deluded
  9. Will it matter tho, since Isak doesnt to want to go to Saudi anyway? And clubs generally dont bid for players unless theyve already made sure that the player wants the move. So either Isak is game for Saudi or PIF is trying to call Liverpools bluff here or something
