As I say, they may not be the answer, but at the moment I’m more confident that Howe isn’t. Palace’s sit 3 points and 3 places ahead of us with a game in hand, to be fair. Rather more reflective than a one off hand picked result against Leeds. You can make an argument on why any manager in world football “might not be the choice”, I mean plenty said Howe wouldn’t be at the time. Ultimately though, you have to take risks if you want success.

We created 1 big chance all game with an xG of 1.18. Finishing wasn’t the issue, good quality chance creation was, and has been, all season. I can’t think of many chances other than Miley’s and Gordon’s which I think could’ve been put down for poor finishing. All chances were half chances at best or created out of nothing (Hall).

I wonder if Bournemouth would’ve stayed up if they stopped giving him credit in the bank for their sensational rise through the leagues, and acted on what was in front of them and sacked him?
