  1. Best player on the park once again. He’s absolutely class. Should be first choice LB for England but you know we’ll have to shoehorn a Sky 6 player in that position.
  2. Sir Joel Inton

    Nick Pope

Would save that shot today. Both of our goalkeepers have some qualities but also some limitations. They’re both not good enough but I’d probably be playing Pope right now.
  3. People also need to stop talking about Glasner like his only achievement is his time at Palace He’s literally won a European trophy.
  4. If they said it wasn’t handball as it came off his chest and he had no chance to avoid contact with his arm, fair enough. Their explanation that it wasn’t handball because he was attempting to foul Thiaw though, was utter horseshit. You just know at the other end that gets given. Surprised (not) Cunha’s assault on Hall wasn’t looked at, or whoever it was who lunged in on Hall after the penalty appeal wasn’t even granted a replay by Sky.
  5. Agreed. They’ve also continued to progress without him though. He should be England manager after the summer imo, maybe that’s the best option for everyone.
  6. As I say, they may not be the answer, but at the moment I’m more confident that Howe isn’t. Palace’s sit 3 points and 3 places ahead of us with a game in hand, to be fair. Rather more reflective than a one off hand picked result against Leeds. You can make an argument on why any manager in world football “might not be the choice”, I mean plenty said Howe wouldn’t be at the time. Ultimately though, you have to take risks if you want success.
  7. We created 1 big chance all game with an xG of 1.18. Finishing wasn’t the issue, good quality chance creation was, and has been, all season. I can’t think of many chances other than Miley’s and Gordon’s which I think could’ve been put down for poor finishing. All chances were half chances at best or created out of nothing (Hall).
  8. I wonder if Bournemouth would’ve stayed up if they stopped giving him credit in the bank for their sensational rise through the leagues, and acted on what was in front of them and sacked him? He’s been sensational for us. I love him and always will. I’d rather him leave with his dignity in tact rather than this getting worse and worse. Glasner or Iraola for me. Will they take us to the next level? I don’t know. But they’ll be doing better than this and I no longer believe Howe will take us to the next level.
