I'm pretty sure I read that he lived in Newcastle and his kids went to school in London? Thought that was strange.

 

Anyway, lots of angry West Ham fans when he was released, he did a better job than Ljungberg/Boa Morte/Etherington/Dyer/Faubert and I think think they were all on bigger wages.

i think (and i stand to be corrected if i am wrong ) that him leaving was a combination of a fallout with his wife, who did move to london with the kids, and probably a reluctance to just punt long balls forward under allardyce. nobby is back with mrs nobby and the kids as far as i am aware now too

Aye I'll hopefully pick up a Nobby top when I'm in Peru later this year.

 

Shame Peru play in red/white though. Might have to keep my eye open for a club top even though my knowledge of Peruvian club footy is nil
