Kev
Newcastle's reserve side begin their league campaign this Thursday (30th) by renewing hostilities with the mob down the road. Kickoff at the Stadium of Light is at 7pm. With no fixture last season after the leagues were reformed to exclude non-Premiership sides, this is the first meeting at this level since Newcastle's 3-2 victory at Kingston Park in April 2006. Anyone going down? quite a few might be travelling down the road for this one...
NSG
I'm going. Away fans advised not to wear their colours. Apparently there was bother the last time we went down.

Guest micmania1
How long does it take to get to the SOS on the metro? I finish work at 5.15 and get into town for about 6. Would I be able to make it in time for KO? I'm guessing we're seperated and if so, where can I buy a ticket in he toon end? Accroding to my uncle, they used to get escorted from Seaburn metro station. Does this still happen? As much info as possible would be appreciated. Cheers. Takes about 35 minutes on the metro from Haymarket and as the match kicks off at 7 so you should be fine. Can get off at either Stadium of Light or St Peter's metro station, both about as near as each other to the ground. Not sure about the segregation you mentioned or about the tickets. Does anyone know? I was just going to pay on the gate.
NSG
It'll be about 3 quid on the gate.

Newcastle Fan
Our reserves squad really looks awfull, suprised (well, not really) they managed a draw considring that Sunderland fielded a team with many first team players including Ian Harte
Guest optimistic nit
Our reserves squad really looks awfull, suprised (well, not really) they managed a draw considring that Sunderland fielded a team with many first team players including Ian Harte our reserve squad is usually our youths + 1-2 fringe seniors or players that have just been out for a long injury. And Ian Harte was probably one of the worst players on the pitch, sunderland first teamer or not.

We need to play more seniors in it, i guess with Faye and Beye (matching names..cool!) coming by tommorw chances are we are going to see Baba and Carr play for the reserves more often. Guest hawayman
We were pretty much out-played the first half, better performance second half and a cracking goal to make it 2-2. Godsmark looks decent he was all over the place.
