James
You know, it has just occurred to me. Allardyce at Newcastle could somehow rescue England here. If (slightly big if) he could get Owen to work effectively in a 433, it could be possible to get Owen and Rooney to be compatible.

Newcastle Fan
Rooney will never be "fit", he'll just be able to play. Anyway i don't really see him as striker, would like him to play either behind the strikers or in the midfield.
Sparks
Owen and Heskey, until two games later when Heskey becomes "shite" again.
Cronky
Rooney is a great player. It's utter madness to decide, after two home wins against moderate opposition, that we can't accommodate him. It's a bit tricky because you have to then choose between Heskey, who's a good target man but a poor finisher, and Owen, who's a good finisher but a poor target man. Personally, I'd go for Heskey, because that aerial power is very useful. Rooney has got everything that Owen has got, plus that bit more. He's even faster now. Guest Stephen927
All depends on how Heskey performs, for me it's now his position to lose, same with Barry.
