Mr. Snrub Posted November 13, 2007 Share Posted November 13, 2007 I think people are getting a bit hysterical Since you like stats so much: 18 points in 12 games translates to about 58 points in 38 games Not exactly relegation fodder Yes, but when you look at who we've played in those 12 games, 18 points is pretty bad. You've got to consider the dirty technicality - 2 halves have to be equal http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Half Therefore if in totality a game lasts for 105 minutes (as per the original expample), the first half must be 52.5 minutes in length - the 15 minute break is actually an artificial break in the game. Hence, technically a goal scored in the 51st minute of said game is scored after the break, but technically in the first half of the game! Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
