ShearMagic
TURIN, Italy, Jan 16 (Reuters) - England soccer coach Fabio Capello is being investigated for tax fraud by prosecutors in the northern Italian city of Turin, a legal source said on Wednesday. The source said the investigation had been going on for at least a year. Italy's Il Giornale newspaper said the investigation inovlved tax laws regarding money earned from sponsors when Capello was coaching Juventus from 2004-2006. "As far as we know the Italian authorities are investigating a certain number of important people in the world of sport," an English Football Association spokesman said. "We have spoken to Fabio and his advisers and they have explained the facts to us. The tax issues are in order."
