Dokko
Whether people like Martins as a player or not I think the team make a noticeable improvement when he's in the team, just the threat of his pace makes opposition defenders sit deeper in their own area, something we are desperate for at the moment. I'm praying its going to change when Martins is back in the team, and that we can't get a win as KK hasn't been able to select him. Fuking ANC really has played its part in our downfall this season. Twats. We need a targetman next season to partner him, sell the rest of our strikers to finance the best we can get.
Teasy
We have 18 points from the 14 games Martins has started this season and only 10 points from the 13 he hasn't started.. 1.28 points per game with Martins and 0.76 per game without him. La Parka
I'm getting scared, and the sad thing is I wouldn't be surprised if these bunch of heartless fuckers wouldn't mind going down. Many know they will be out if it did happen.

Guest rebel_yell12
If nothing else, it would be good to see Newcastle's two highest scorers on the pitch at the same time -- hopefully they will play well together! It seems a waste to bench the unpredictable Martins OR the still-top-class Owen in favor of any of Newcastle's other "options". Honestly, Martins can't be any more shambolic than Smith, can he? Even on his worst day, at least Martins plays as a striker and routinely takes a shot. I think Smith has shot twice all season! That means that defences really only have to play Owen -- and Michael Owen has always played best with a partner. It's time to see Martins and Owen together.
