Yorkie
I don't think we'll have to worry too much about Smith or Ameobi getting games (starts, anyway) with Viduka being out. If Keegan envisages 4-4-2 it'll probably be Owen playing off Martins. Unfortunately I can't see that ever working and what's more to the point, I'm pretty sure KK sees that too. Why not? Cos neither one is several inches higher than the other? The partnership has barely been tested; i swear the last time it was tried out was at the end of Roeder's tenure, where he chucked Owen down the left-wing for the remaining twenty minutes of games. Owen has excellent movement, creativity, technique and general intelligence. If Martins' mobility and nouse of where he's meant to be continues to improve like it did do last season, then i see no reason why it shouldn't work. They're both decent in the air too, both good goalscorers. Worth a shot iyam.
