La Parka
It would appear that our countries press association dont rate Colo FIVE WORST SIGNINGS OF THE SUMMER By Eleanor Crooks, PA Sport After another summer of ongoing sagas and some big spending, the transfer window finally slams shut at midnight on Monday. Here, PA Sport pick out five Barclays Premier League buys that could turn sour. Fabricio Coloccini (Deportivo La Coruna to Newcastle, undisclosed) Central defence has been a big problem area for Newcastle with a succession of signings proving not up to scratch. Home-grown talent Steven Taylor is a solid player when paired with a dominant centre-back but Coloccini has already shown signs of vulnerability in the air, something that will be ruthlessly exploited by Premier League sides. Bet they have not even seen the man play - Muppets Written by a woman..

Cajun
Early days but.. Guthrie and Bassong have performed better than I expected. I think Guthrie would look better if partnered with someone else too (thats not a dig at Butt btw just don't think those two really click). I wouldn't be too worried if Bassong fills in for Enrique while he is out injured then see how he has performed when he gets back. Coloccini has a look of class about him, wasn't great yesterday and will still need time to adapt/settle but I am happy. Jonas has looked very good and I think will only get better, again yesterday wasn't his best game but he still looks a threat. Does sometimes run himself into trouble and give away possesion but at least he is trying to do something positive. I think he will only get better the longer he is here. Hasn't had the easiest set of games to show what he can do but has shown enough to give me encouragement. Nile Ranger is probably my signing of the summer though, fantastic name and just looks like someone who can be a world class player. Keep it up my straight banana brother
