The only way a fans consortium would work, is if we had a figure head, who would be given absolute trust to run the club, only one name comes to mind,... If a consortium was organised, in a correct manner. would it be able to sell shares at , say £100 a time, the money be-ing pledged initially, untill it was established that enough could be raised to buy the club. how much, is he after? could kk be persuaded to head the consortium. would people like Alan shearer invest something back? Guest optimistic nit Posted September 6, 2008 Share Posted September 6, 2008 if we did a fans consortium then we wouldn't be able to back the club. its hard enough just raising the money to buy the club, how would we be able to finance 15million pound transfers as well? and since the club is losing money at the moment, how long till we here chants of "fans out" ringing around the stadium. Such a scheme would get the support and backing of the City Council, local businesses and fans alike I feel if done properly. It could be achieved. NUFC fans are all mouth though.
