Guest fraser
Looking at the nufc Live Match Centre there's no update; presumably kick-off delayed due to crowd congestion trying to get in.
Guest Geordiesned
Newcastle take the lead. Cracking free kick from wide left into top right corner by Adje (spelling?)
ChrisMcQuillan
2-0. I think Adjei again.
PM
1-0, free kick from the wide left position from Adjei straight in. As i write the same man takes advantage of a defensive mix up to make it 2.
Guest Geordiesned
Yep. Mistake by centre back left him to lift it over standed keeper into empty net.
Guest Heneage
Adjei seems to be having quite the purple patch.
Guest fraser
Flip me. The Live Centre still says 1-0; Craig No-Hope.
Mags Serbia
2-0 Adjei !
PM
Alnwick saves one pen before we ludicrously give another one away seconds later. Scored this time.
Guest Geordiesned
2 pens in 2 mins for Palace! 1st one saved 2nd one scored. Both were pens.
PM
Fabulous save from Alnwick keeps us ahead
PM
Great ball from Dummett converted by Airey. 3-1.
Guest Geordiesned
Lovely move and goal by Phil Airey. 3-
PM
Sami Ameobi, who has been rubbish, makes it 4-1 with a good finish.
PM
4-2 now, mistake at the back punished with a neat finish.
Fenham Mag
Sounds a canny game.
Amir_9
In the semi-finals, well done lads.
Guest ObiChrisKenobi
Well that was alreet wasn't it! Can't decide who was Man of the Match for me. Jak Alnwick - who made some crackinng saves. Or Conner Newton who broke up most of their attacks, and set up most of ours.
Guest Geordiesned
Newton man of the match for me. Ameobi was utter dog shite.
Thespence
Newton played well 1st time I have seen him in central position but he always been a good passer of the ball may lack the legs to get around the pitch at senior level. Palace must have the only group of black teenagers in London who lack a cutting edge
PM
Stand outs for me were Newton, Alnwick and also Dummett, defended solidly and a superb assist for the 3rd goal. Adjei is frustrating, 2 nice goals but his final pass was lacking for me. Ameobi, as I said before, absolute manure. There was a spell late in the game where we must have put together a string of about 30 passes, and you just knew that as soon as it got to him it would end. It did. ponsaelius
Gotta say the one thing that impressed me tonight was the efficiency inwhich we passed the ball about (Ameobi aside). Been to youth games in the past and the standard was very poor, this was refreshingly decent though. Onwards to the semis!
Thespence
I am surprised you were not on my bus back to NE28 PM as everywhere I go you seem to be there: 58, Tesco (NCL) & SJP.
